Best jacket potato fillings?

Jacket potatoes are in the oven crisping up nicely. What are your favourite fillings? I normally just default to a monsoon of beans and cheese 😋

Do you all make the chilli for the baked spud or is it left overs?

This is my favourite jacket potato filling.

Chicken mayo and avocado is my fave. Need to make a list of all these suggestions. Never thought of cheese and Marmite. Works on toast so why not potato!

Mash the innards with cooked bacon , cheese and branston spoon it back and grill ....

Bacon and mushrooms, topped with grated cheddar. One of my favourite meals ever.

PILES and piles of cheese and butter!!

Butter and cheese, then coleslaw on top and more cheese- served with slices of corned beef and a little salad 👌

Or what I did at uni was top with butter, cheese and then chicken supernoodles - but that's only good if your drunk, want to eat your weight in carbs and don't mind gaining weight immediately 🤣

Butter, cheese and fried mushrooms on top of a jacket potato is also a good combo

If anyone is interested in scooped out baked spuds recipes, Nancy Birtwhistle on Instagram has a great method of doing them in a batch, and then freezing them, so you can pull them out as and when you need them and heat in microwave. This makes putting the oven on more economical too.

Beans and coleslaw. Nothing else comes close.

I would definitely be wanting leftovers. One of the beauties of a jacket is the simplicity of a heart warming fill up meal! Couldn't be doing with making a chilli on the side 🤣
