I really enjoy these threads and haven't seen a recent one so thought I'd make one. So, in my house
DH is on his PlayStation
DD18 is at work
DD15 on a sleepover
DD7 playing in her room
I'm currently upstairs in my pjs having a declutter and clean of my bedroom whilst listening to next doors teenage daughter blasting music through the wall
What's going on in your house?

I’m in the bath, DC is at school

Dd and h are out at athletics training. I'm cooking brunch for when they get home, and watching Murray 😢

We just got back from swimming. Dc are watching Jake and the Neverland pirates and dh is making us all a hot chocolate.

In bed drinking coffee, a nice day with DH planned, lunch out, then home to a nice fire, wine, the papers and bread and cheese for supper. Looking forward to it. DS is away.

In terms of decluttering and tidying nothing much has been done, I'm now laid on my bed scrolling Mumsnet 😂

What's Murray? I've not heard of that

Just finished watching the tennis,and now about to blitz the bedroom.
Have put a load of towels in washing machine and they're now in the tumble drier.
If the pavements have defrosted by this afternoon we'll probably go for a walk

DS18 has gone on an RAFAC residential - saw him off at 0630 this morning

DS12 is currently practising drums...

DH at work this morn. DD has only just surfaced and gone for a shower.
The boys are playing with play dough and making an impressive mess. I will be picking play dough out the toy helicopter it seems.
I'm taking the older two ice skating this afternoon (shitting myself). DH will be looking after not moving from the same spot and watching films with the youngest.

DH is on the PS5. DSS is on his switch.

I'm watching TV. Dogs all asleep.

Including one who has claimed the mattress I dragged down stairs to take to the tip as his own. He looks so comfy I think I'll have to let him keep it.

In no particular order....

Load of washing put on
Recycling put out for tomorrow
Couple of bags filled for the charity shop - mostly unwanted Christmas and birthday gifts
Sitting room dusted and hoovered
Hoover unblocked (see item above)
Fireplace cleaned out
Curry in slow cooker for supper tonight.
DP has taken the dogs for a walk

Just taking 5minutes with coffee before I bring in more coal for the fire this afternoon.

Currently home alone enjoying a cup of tea, a toasted muffin and one eye on Emily in Paris and one on Mumsnet!

Kids at various clubs and friends' homes, pub lunch with DH planned and fire and Netflix this evening.

A chilled day following a chocca week and another big week to follow.

I've been clearing out wardrobe but now eating fruit bread from farm shop which is amazing!

Dh and Dd (12) are about to go to the skip and to exchange some trousers in town.

Ds (16) is about to start revising.

Cats are probably destroying the house somewhere

I'm sitting on the sofa on my pyjamas scrolling through my phone, feeling a bit unwell with probably a Lupus flare.
DH is sorting out paperwork.
DD21 has gone to my mums to do some cleaning for her.
DD25 is upstairs waiting for a phone call from the car dealers, she's learning to drive and bought a wee micra last week. It's coming today.

Childless- both wife (36&37) and me are on the couch on our phones. Had a cup of tea each. Every ten minutes we try figure out what to do today. Then go back to our phones.

I'm making soup for lunch.
Teen in bedroom.

DH and dds x 2 have gone to football, they will be out all day. I have done household chores, had a leisurely b/fast and might watch Emily in Paris this afternoon.

Just finished my second coffee and shared a giant cinnamon bun with my husband. Still in our pjs 😂
Currently watching 600lb life, it's my guilty pleasure! Kids are upstairs in their rooms playing. I LOVE lazy Saturdays.
We will probs venture out to do a food shop later and get treats for tonight when we watch Masked Singer. Then when kids are in bed we order a takeaway and watch a film together, every Saturday night without fail. Reading this back I sound like a right fatty 🤣 but we eat super healthy during the week so that our weekends we can enjoy eating whatever we fancy. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
