I really enjoy these threads and haven't seen a recent one so thought I'd make one. So, in my house
DH is on his PlayStation
DD18 is at work
DD15 on a sleepover
DD7 playing in her room
I'm currently upstairs in my pjs having a declutter and clean of my bedroom whilst listening to next doors teenage daughter blasting music through the wall
What's going on in your house?

Totally wasted the morning, lazing on sofa with the dog watching Friends.

Really f*cked up recently and feeling the consequences. Trying to get over something, can't stop thinking about it. Looking into therapy as I can see me repeating destructive patterns. Trying not to cry every 5 minutes. Only got myself to blame.

The dog seems happy enough though.

** posted earlier on another thread. Not much has changed in the last hour, except I'm having another coffee. Should really do something.

DH painting the back of a door - again. Not sure why. I've just finished my book & plan on wrapping DGDs birthday presents if i can put my phone down. Need to walk DDs but need the motivation as it's so cold and muddy.

Cat & I are snoozing, husband has just gone out to collect some dry cleaning then he’s getting groceries for dinner.

We're getting ready to go out for some late lunch and shopping. After bribing the dc with pocket money, of course.

Ds1and DS3 and me have spent the morning at football. DS2 stayed home because he felt ill. supposed to be going out on a lovely walk with family this afternoon - tested DS2 just in case and he has Covid. So we’ll be home this afternoon instead, a shame but don’t want to risk my mum’s health - she still hasn’t had it.
so we’re all eating fried egg rolls. DS3 is playing Minecraft, DS2 in bed and DS1 doing homework. Later we’ll walk the dog, light the fire and watch silent witness.

Been for a walk in the hills now waiting on lunch cooking then off to the pub with friends then getting a takeaway for dinner 👍🏻

DD has gone to her Dads for a few hrs.
I've done my tax return, has hash brown and scrambled eggs as a nice reward.
Me and DCat now sitting watching the blue tits in the garden out of the window (well, he mainly is. I'm mainly laughing my tits off at old Taskmaster on All 4)

Have set Alexa for 2pm to make me go and get logs out of the wood shed for tonight. It's forecast -3 tonight and I want me and DD to be cosy later. Steak dinner planned in front of a roaring stove and Masked Singer.

DH has taken DD1 to ballet and will collect DD2 while he's there. I'm enjoying the 15 minutes peace while they're all out - I've unpacked the shopping and am having lunch; washing machine is on.

We did gym/swimming this morning.

I'll take the dog for a walk in a minute and collect DD1 after. Then I need to go to the Chinese supermarket and get some dumplings

I'm currently tidying sitting room. Having a 5min break. Ds1 has just got home from tennis and raiding the fridge. Ds2 is in his room playing on PS. Dh is at work.

I'm pregnant so didn't sleep great last night. Woke at 4am after 6 hours so was wide away, then nodded off about an hour later and woke up at 7 feeling worse than 4!

DH took DS aged 3 to the barbers this morn, then did the food shop with him, we all had lunch and make some cupcakes and now DH has taken DS swimming. I'm so lucky he's really helping me out while I feel knackered!

Later we'll go for a walk round the block so DS can have a go on his new bike and have a pasta bake for dinner. DS in bed at 7pm and then chill watching Netflix!

Having a quiet cuppa now. Just back from a cycle. Had to wash & lube the bike when I got home, the roads are so mucky. DH at work and as kids all grown up and left now, the day is my own. Gonna do some batch cooking and then maybe bake something nice for after tea

Wish I could have a large glass of wine tonight! Jealous of those who can x

DH is working away this weekend so it's just me and the DCs. They're playing in their bedroom (and likely trashing the place) having just got some clothes on as we've all been having a relaxed morning in.
I'm jus dressed and watching tv on my bed while on MN which feels like a little luxury after a busy week!
We'll head into town later to do a few jobs and buy dinner but it's so nice having almost no plans.

DH is at his mother's.
DD is driving home from ballet - actually no, probably in Costa.
DD's DP is in bed asleep - he works shifts.
Cats 1,2,3 all napping on sofa.
Cat 4 in hiding upstairs somewhere.
I have been to the supermarket, watered the plants in the greenhouse, hung up some clean clothes in my wardrobe, and am contemplating what to have for lunch.

Was watching the tennis. Now faffing about on my iPad while the bf watches the football. One of my dogs is on the sofa with us. Other dog is snoozing on my bed. Various cats dotted around the house snoozing. A nice peaceful day so far.

I have just eaten lunch and am having a coffee.
I am allowing myself until 1pm then I need to do some jobs.
DS 16 is at art class and is going to his Dads after.
DDog is upstairs snoozing.

Got some laundry going.

Dropped DD13 at a sleepover.

Chasing DS11 & DS10 to sort themselves some lunch.

DH is in bed as he just finished a 12 hour night shift.

I'm on the sofa watching TV.

Walked dog earlier. Just been to McDonald's for take away for hungover teen (don't ask) and DS2. Went via pets at home so DDog is settled with his antler chew.
I need a shower but will walk dog again this afternoon so may shower after that and transition into pjs. Teen didn't get back until late and I'm knackered. Hoping 2 x 40 mins will see dog right as DH away with work and I don't want to go out again today.

Had a bit of a lie in, did some work, went to the gym and picked up some essentials for the weekend.

currently having a brew on the sofa, while DH re-silicones the bathroom and the teens do whatever in their screens.

Need to meal plan and do an online shop, and also put laundry through etc - but can’t see me standing up any time soon!

My 12yr old DS is still only up for lounging around on youtube after 48hr nasty ride of strep, though antibiotics kicking in now. I am lethargic after a rough 48hr and doing training in prep for my new job Monday, DH will be home from work in an hour and said he fancies a brisk walk with the dogs. Me and DS don't feel upto it so we will continue to lounge about. They'll be no lounging after Monday 12hr shifts lol

I'm doing washing, DH has been painting DC 3&6 are playing. DH is off out soon so me and DC are going to soft play and having lunch out and we usually watch a kids film early evening

DS has gone to the cinema/meal out with his best friend (for her birthday) and her family.
DD is creating a Playmobil city.
DH is testing some new software.
I'm mindlessly scrolling the Internet, worrying about DS (it's the first time he's done anything like this and he struggles a bit with certain situations but I'm sure he'll have a great time) and trying to ignore all of the things I actually need to do.

Watching Liverpool v Chelsea in our caravan.

DP is taking a break from saving the universe (he's a gamer, not an actual universe-saving superhero), and bought me in a coffee. I'm just listening to tunes and looking at flights to Australia. It's very relaxed here in "Goody Towers".
