Stupidest place a courier has left your parcel?

I had a delivery today of barking heads puppy food, order was £50. Not money I can afford to loose ( like everyone else) I never heard them knock, I got an email to say it was delivered it to a ‘safe space’ I went outside, where was this safe space do you ask? On the pavement outside my house in full view of everyone walking past! ( my house has steps going up to the house, they’d obviously just dumped it there) Luckily only been out 5 minutes and hadn’t been stolen. Where have the genius’s left your parcels??

Amazon (who are usually good) once popped my parcel in the bin that was at the front of the drive... so due to be collected!

I was sat downstairs in the lounge at the front of the house and he didn't ring the doorbell. I'm never confrontational but I found myself opening the door asking why he hadn't even bothered to ring the doorbell and why he thought it was acceptable to put it in the bin that hadn't been collected! 😂

In a hedge. It was a camera. Not impressed!

"Left with your receptionist" along with a picture of it being dumped on the doormat. The tip of my cat's tail was a visible in the corner of the pic - perhaps they thought this was the receptionist? (Actually they'd be right - he is in charge)

I’ve had parcels left in my wheelie bin before 🙄

It’s toss up between:
-Nextdoor’s bin, the bins are in the front gardens here so if they were determined to leave it in a bin then why not mine.
-Or under the doormat of a house 5 doors away, again we have a doormat so why not leave it under ours.

In the middle of my front garden, in fill view of the pavement. Fortunately, it wasn't raining...

No explanation was forthcoming but when I queried where it was, they sent me a photo of said derelict house , showing the number , which was clearly not mine. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dpuppy loved her new tug toy... Delivery man walked round 2 cars to throw it over without knocking on the door.

In a bush, well hidden from sight… only discovered it after I chased them (John Lewis) and it had a big slug on it!

Inside a children's playhouse in my neighbour's garden-in December.

Apart from wheelie bin, cold frame and pavement outside house, there's also been a mile away, in a different village, with people of a different name.

I had one courier deliver a gift to my DS, was meant to deliver to the porter's lodge at his college (easily accessible and open 24/7) and left it on the doorstep on a busy city centre street. Stolen within minutes!

Oh and I had one left with ‘Victoria’ once and the picture of the door didn’t match any of the house on our street, or even the surrounding streets (think 60/70s style whilst everything around here is Victorian). Never found that one!

Opened the door to the Evri man running down the path shouting "there's your parcel, I don't know what that is all over it".

It was shit.

On top of a wall. Safe place and all, but I can't reach anything left up there. Delivery guy is really tall.

Stinking black bin in the summer. I've never been so grateful for excessive packaging, as it was the DCs' new set of school uniform for the year.

Although the guy delivering a large, heavy radiator was going to just leave it on the drive as he couldn't possibly get it into a perfectly ordinary house. 🙄 I managed to get him to put it in the garage which is not the house. It's bigger than me and for some reason, I didn't want to leave it unattended in public view for the next 10 hours.

Parcels always get left in my green recycle bin which I am fine with, I am assuming it was the same amazon delivery person as 3 parcels in a row were left in the bin but the card to say where it was left was in full view (eye height) tucked in the front door so was completely visible to everyone walking past. One parcel was a £300+ watch! Luckily nothing was stolen.

Another parcel I had a card through to say it was left in my porch, I don't have a porch! Called the delivery company and they had no clue. Turns out it was left in next door neighbours porch but they didn't know till they returned home later that night. Company hadn't actually recorded they had just left in neighbours porch even though the neighbours were out.

On the back seat of a total stranger's car about half a mile away from our house. It was a refrigerated delivery and I'd put a note to leave in the carport if we weren't in. They turned up at the wrong address and though a car was close enough!
