I had a delivery today of barking heads puppy food, order was £50. Not money I can afford to loose ( like everyone else) I never heard them knock, I got an email to say it was delivered it to a ‘safe space’ I went outside, where was this safe space do you ask? On the pavement outside my house in full view of everyone walking past! ( my house has steps going up to the house, they’d obviously just dumped it there) Luckily only been out 5 minutes and hadn’t been stolen. Where have the genius’s left your parcels??

Not place but person... not quite sure why the delivery person thought it appropriate or legal to let my 6 yr old take delivery of 2 bottles of navy strength gin (I was in the shower when it arrived)

Just before Xmas Amazon left mine and the parcel of a neighbour two doors up in the entrance of my shared drive with another neighbour. Only knew when the other neighbour messaged to ask if the parcel had come to me as it was showing delivered on her email. Looked outside in usual safe spot. Not there. Walked down with torch to see a whole pile of parcel just dumped at beginning of the shared drive which I rarely walk down as tend drive out.

Amazon driver threw a ‘fragile handle with care’ parcel over my 6 foot high side gate - it was bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar which both smashed and I had an oily vinegary mess over my patio

DPD once delivered my parcel to the local pub which is not a DPD shop or pick up point. When I went to fetch it the landlord told me the courier had told him that I prefer to pick my parcels up from there on my way back from work Confused

Had this today - left in shed. For starters I live in a apartment, there are no sheds. Turns out it was in next door neighbours storage cupboards that we have in the hallway, he must've checked every door and that was the only one open, because that's how I found it. They need to start doing picture proof so I don't have to rounds of the apartment building!

One was left in the dustbin but the best was a large box left on our front steps with the parcel box on top of it

On the pavement, outside the communal entrance door to my block of flats. There is a parade of shops below my flat,so with the number of people passing by,it's an absolute miracle it wasn't stolen.

Both Amazon and Uber Eats drivers like to leave deliveries right in front of my mesh security door - which opens outwards. So it's all in full view of the street, and I have to knock it over with the door to squeeze outside and get it.

We came home late one evening after a long day of work, dinner and drinks to find a parcel sitting on the front step in full view of the road. It contained a £1,000+ camera.

We'd ordered some canvas prints of some professional photos of DD, ro be delivered in good time for Christmas. The courier was delayed, they ended up arriving on Christmas Eve (by which time we'd gone away for Christmas) and they were chucked over the back gate in the pouring rain. Fortunately the cat feeder brought them inside the following day and they weren't damaged even though the packaging literally disingegrated.

Cardboard boxes left in the recycling bin.
On the front door step (no front garden)

A lady who lives about a mile from me put a message on a local fb chat to find me . Hermes had left my parcel in the rain on a public grassed area near to her house .

Our passports were delivered to a neighbour. Different surname, different street, different number.

Amazon delivered a parcel to the same house number of the next street -then came to tell us his mistake. Trouble was the house had been sold and was empty.

New kettle and toaster left in recycling bin.
