Anyone else feel sad Xmas is over for another whole year now

No, I'm delighted it's over.

Know gotta make the most of these inbetween days and New Year’s Eve and day but Xmas day and Boxing Day goes so fast

I'm a little bit mixed. I think it's because we'll be going back to work and school and I really don't want to 😆

Yes and winter will drag on for another 3 months at least. Hate the almost constant rain, wind and cold and few like I’ve nothing to look forward to 🙁

I don't think Christmas is over yet! We're off to in laws tomorrow and still off work until next Tuesday. I'm glad actual Christmas day is over as always feels a bit pressured to "have a good time" be "best ever Christmas" - I don't think SM helps here TBH! But enjoying relaxing, eating the nice food and getting out when the weather is good.

I am as I finally did xmas on my terms and it was glorious. Looking forward to NYE, my birthday and Lohri, all in January. I’m also quite partial to Valentines day.

Also feel a little sad after Christmas it’s so lovely

i do quite like the time between Xmas and new year though.

I don't mind as all my family birthdays are in the summer so the first half of the year I spend looking forward to that then after birthdays we get Halloween then Christmas. We also are big at Easter so tbh I spend my year looking forward to the next thing which helps.

I don’t feel it’s over yet… we’re all still eating Christmas food, watching Christmas films and people are popping to visit people. For me Christmas ends with the new year.

But it’s not over! The twelve days of Christmas have only just started. This is the bit that I really enjoy, the quiet and slower pace.

The Christmas season seems to start so early now that people are bored before it’s actually started!

I love Boxing Day
I find it a lot less stressful than Christmas Day.

I'm glad all the Christmas mania is over, wrapping stuff, kids changing minds, all the Christmas stress is gone.

Time to actually enjoy chilling, kids enjoying their new stuff, not tidying stuff away incase of accidents or bits going missing.

Not over for us! We had Christmas Day with my family, Boxing Day with DH’s. Today we are having our own Christmas Day just the two of us and keeping the festive spirit going! We had Buck’s Fizz at breakfast and are making a Christmas dinner. The only thing missing is more presents!
