If you hate Christmas pudding, what alternative dessert are you having?

I'll start. Homemade choc chip cake with old skool chocolate custard, bonus points if I manage to get it to form a leathery skin... yum 😍

Trifle. But we don’t have dessert until a few hours after

Made this chocolate orange panettone bread pudding yesterday - had it with vanilla ice cream and it was delish:

Have made a berry trifle for the main event (tomorrow) and have a back up vienetta in the fridge.

Apple strudel made in our local deli. With whipped cream today, custard tomorrow.

Tesco Raspberry trifle plus Tesco chocolate log.

Trifle has been demolished but there's plenty of chocolate log left for tomorrow!

My mum did have a Christmas pudding but I'm not a fan so I took some profiteroles and cheesecake as extra choice dessert (with her ok) to eat and share with others

I had Vienetta.

Baileys Eton Mess.... with a choice of chocolate pieces or crumbled mince pie instead of the usual fruit.

Homemade chocolate and salted caramel cake, or pavlova and fresh fruit. I got a mini Christmas pudding for the one person in the house who likes it.

Fruit salad and a cheese board - can't be doing with too much dried fruit or the alternative chocolate/salted caramel offerings
