I'll start. Homemade choc chip cake with old skool chocolate custard, bonus points if I manage to get it to form a leathery skin... yum 😍

Homemade dark chocolate fudge cake, with pouring cream and salted caramel icecream.

Do you have a good recipe for this please?😋

Romemarie · 23/12/2022 23:29

Black forest gateau. Though my 11 year old dd will be having a lemon cheesecake.

Thenthatsthatthen · 23/12/2022 23:41

Chocolate orange pavlova, Dbro is bringing a cheesecake and DCs have requested butterscotch tart so I guess I'll make one of those as well

XenoBitch · 23/12/2022 23:42

Fruit crumble

foxlover47 · 23/12/2022 23:46

A chocolate reindeer cake from asda that you have to smash , DD will love it

anon666 · 23/12/2022 23:48

Some kind of similar looking pudding that's got no raisins in. Either toffee, or gingerbread or something, can't remember!

We have tiramisu and cheesecake and I’m making a pavlova tomorrow. There’s also a Vienetta in the freezer.

Snap! Tiramisu and pavlova for my family too.

Mary Berry's Whole Orange Spice Cake - it's a festive tradition now for the non-Xmas pudding people in our house now. Great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. www.maryberry.co.uk/recipes/christmas/whole-orange-spice-cake-1

ODFOx · 24/12/2022 00:20

I'm serving Christmas pud and brandy sauce, apple and cinnamon crumble with custard, and a cheeseboard.
In previous years I've swapped the crumble for a fruit pie, a baked apple or a sundae selection with different cream creams, fruit and sauces.

TakemedowntoPotatoCity · 24/12/2022 00:21

We normally have a lemon roulade. Not a fan of any Xmas type desserts tbh - Xmas pudding, cake, mince pies can all get in the bin😝

MaydinEssex · 24/12/2022 00:27

I don't really eat a dessert after any meal, especially not after a Christmas dinner, but we have bought a strawberry gateau and double cream for my fella

Firefly86 · 24/12/2022 00:30

Ponks · 23/12/2022 21:59

Vienetta 😂

Same...

Epicstorm · 24/12/2022 01:08

Choice of
Aldi profiteroles. They’re gorgeous and what I’ll be having.
Chocolate Yule log
Christmas pudding and Brandy sauce.

humancalculator · 24/12/2022 01:13

Homemade chocolate Yule log (it will look like a wonky stick, but whatever)
Panettone

Anewhoo · 24/12/2022 01:15

Cheese and crackers at midnight. We never have pudding/dessert though!

PlaitBilledDuckyPuss · 24/12/2022 01:15

Yule log

FixItUpChappie · 24/12/2022 01:24

I'm making a trifle and a grasshopper pie

mondaytosunday · 24/12/2022 01:26

Apple crumble. Yule log. Christmas cake (sadly substituted with a much inferior one in my Waitrose shop today).

echt · 24/12/2022 03:10

I don't hate Christmas pudding, I rather like it, but as it's an Australian Christmas, and 30 degrees this year, I've made raspberry sorbet, with Morello cherry ice-cream.

Theoldwoman · 24/12/2022 03:55

Pavlova
Jelly
Fruit salad
Ice Cream
Rum balls
Fresh berries
Custard

Dustybarn · 24/12/2022 04:07

We are not big dessert eaters and it’s hot here, so we are having panettone and homemade vanilla ice cream and cherries in kirschwasser.
