What’s everyone having for Saturday night Dinner?

DH is just about to pop to Tesco’s but nothing he is suggesting is jumping out at me…

whats everyone having, need some inspiration…

Brief - It has to go with wine!

We're having wine... with paella. Chicken and chorizo.

Beer braised pork tacos - from the MOB Kitchen book which is my current favourite recipe book.

King prawn curry with pillar rice from Tesco and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Spicy sausages, mash, and steamed kale

We’ve just had a beef and veg stir fry with cashew nuts. It was lovely. Had it early because DH was heading out to work.

I can confirm it goes with wine 😁.

Homemade pizzas and salad. Ham and pineapple for me; olives, nduja and ham for DH and DS. I make the dough in the kenwood chef and I batch cook the pizza sauce.

Pasta carbonara

We went out for sushi for lunch, so tonight is bread, cheese and Heinz tomato soup.

Mary berry's spaghetti with pea, basil, pine nut pesto followed by mince pie and cream

Honey glazed gammon, mini roast potatoes, mixed veg and gravy

Tonight we are having a mini buffet nothing's homemade as I couldn't be bothered. Thank you Tesco 😁 with lashings of rose prosecco 🥂

Spay Bol and garlic bread (bolognaise was in the freezer) and red wine

Chicken, lemon and thyme risotto over here!

We're having lamb curry and pilau rice.

Chinese fake-away from M&S

IKEA meatballs with a spicy tomato sauce and pasta

A Tesco finest choux wreath type thing which is trial 😉 to see if it is any good to have in the freezer for around Christmas. First impression on opening is it looks NOWHERE as near impressive as it does on the box 🤦‍♀️

Several lime vodka and coke

Chilli con carne

Baked bean lasagne. And wine

Yum some lovely suggestions…

DH is going to see if he can get a bit venison to go with this recipe

But I also love risotto on a Saturday night, or mostly sitting in the kitchen drinking wine while DH cooks it!!!

We had a massive meat/ cheese board and bread with fish pate
veg and hummus

we need the fridge room try to use up chutney jars ect

Chicken, peppers and onion cooked in a smoky fajita sauce.

spouse and kids eating it with rice - I’m eating on its own!

Cheese and biscuits! Plus nice chutneys and pickles and pate. DH and DD are having homemade burgers but I detest burgers. So I'm cracking open the Christmas stuff with a view to replacing it later this month!

Not letting me upload but basically a bit bowl of cream, thyme, wild mushrooms, shallot and giant cous cous loveliness!!
