We had IKEA meatballs!

WondrousWinger · 03/12/2022 18:14

I needed something quick so I chucked chicken breast, carrots, onions, mushrooms and celery in the slow cooker this afternoon with a packet of Scwartz chasseur mix that's been lingering in the cupboard.

Except when I got the packet out it was actually Sausage Casserole mix 🤦🏻‍♀️ - too late by then so in it went. We're eating at 7 so I'm hoping it's OK lol.

Tacocatgoatcheesepizza · 03/12/2022 18:15

Stollen apparently!

BuffaloCauliflower · 03/12/2022 18:16

Rib eye steaks, mash, creamed spinach
and truffle butter green beans - all M&S. (it was my birthday on Thursday so a special meal) sadly no wine as I’m pregnant, but only a few more weeks to go on that one!

dementedma · 03/12/2022 18:16

cavily1806 · 03/12/2022 18:20

Takeaway tonight. I'm cooked out!

Babdoc · 03/12/2022 18:22

A partridge and tarragon pie from today’s farmers’ market, with home made Chinese leaf, pea and mint soup. Quick and easy to organise, in the gap between footy matches! Along with a glass of wine to toast the Dutch victory over the USA. (My late DH was half Dutch).

ImHavingAnOldFriendForDinner · 03/12/2022 18:22

I "made" sweet and sour chicken and rice, I say made because the sauce is out of a jar and it tastes shit. My laziness has ruined everyone's Saturday night dinner!!

mamaduckbone · 03/12/2022 18:22

Homemade pizza and salad

cptartapp · 03/12/2022 18:22

Meat and potato pie and baked beans.

grapehyacinthisactuallyblue · 03/12/2022 18:23

Braised pork belly(kakuni) with butternut squash, leek, celery and onions. Nearly finished, smells divine.

HerRoyalNotness · 03/12/2022 18:26

I’m supposed to be making a chicken, chilli white bean soup. So probably that. Or a takeout. One of my Dc has a problem with chicken texture so I’m a bit lost what to cook, can’t eat beef every day!

IsAnybody · 03/12/2022 18:26

My favourite. A roast dinner😍 stuffed roast pork in the oven cooking nicely, with roasted potatoes, onion and stuffing, mashed swede, broccoli, carrots, peas and yorkies with gravy. Also a bette crocker chocolate cake for after. Just having a cheeky beer whilst it cook's.

whatwasIgoingtosay · 03/12/2022 18:26

Aldi lemon-infused cranberry and orange salmon from their freezer range (don't know if it's any good, first time I've tried it, but it looks and smells good) with roast potatoes, purple-sprouting broccoli and carrots stewed in butter and brown sugar. Be ready in 10 minutes - can't wait!

plipplopplonk · 03/12/2022 18:27
