I was never a huge fan of Steve Wright and he certainly had a lot of detractors.

However, careful what you wish for

Scott Mills is sooo dull

I can't believe that he was the best replacement for Steve wright.

OJ Borg was a fantastic stand in but now this is mind numbingly boring. Thank god it's only 2 hours

Any suggestions for a good show in the afternoon?

The serious jocking ( no g) was annoying
He also used to sing over the end of the songs ..arrggg !

Vernon - no no no! Boring and I still can’t get over the texting scandal, that ruined him for me
Zoe - is fine
Sarah - warm and witty, enjoy her show a lot
Rylan - love! Seriously considering a trip to Ibiza for the first time after listening to his show! He’s very funny too.
Liza - I love her but not always keen on the music
My absolute favourite though is the Rvd Kate Bottley on Sunday mornings. Wish we could have her everyday.

@Swingoutsistersledge2 Me too! I used to love listening to Paul O'Grady whilst having a soak when DH was happily tucked up in front of the footie on Sky.

I like Vernon .

Also like Dermot and Claudia on a. Saturday, and Rev Kate on Sunday. That’s probably one of the best shows.

Bob Harris is superb as well. Got into listening to him whilst taking dc to sports clubs, and ended up buying quite a few Country records as a result, and even went to an Americana festival.

Vernon is so much better than Zoe at the breakfast show - can’t stand Zoe gasping for air and gorgeous girling through the whole morning.

I don’t get to listen again until after 4 now so haven’t heard Scott Mills but have read he’s not gone down too well.

My dog really misses Steve Wright as when he used to hear the closing theme music he knew he was about to get his tea so he always used to get up and wag his tail.

Ken Bruce and Tony Blackburn I still love, I love Johnny Walker’s Sounds of the 70s too. Bring back Paul O’Grady though - Rob Becket is totally wrong for that slot.

Zoe ball has always been breathless and fawning over everyone
It's her USP isn't it?
I could honestly do her job for a fraction of the price ; most people could to be fair!

Vernon is ace. Never liked him very much but his radio shows are great when he’s covering for Zoe.

Vernon has a sparkle to him.
The X factor I guess

Hated Steve Wright, thank goodness he’s gone
