In a cafe, and a woman has just complained (funny)

She'd ordered a bacon sandwich and it's just been delivered to the table. She's now moaning because her bacon sandwich has a tiny crumb of black pudding on it. And she doesn't eat pork.

I feel for the poor staff having to explain which animal bacon comes from 😬

(And no, there's no vegan bacon on the menu so not a mix up!)

I was driven to try vegan bacon last week. I don't recommend it.

I remembered (too late) that I don't like bacon-flavoured things - I only like actual bacon. Vegan bacon tastes like a cheap, knock-off version of a Frazzle crisp that's been dunked in ash. It's truly, truly revolting.

Never have I been so disappointed. Vegans who claim that it's "just like real bacon" are clearly trolling us all.

I don't know why my body has done this to me. It's a huge betrayal. You think if I fed it more water and took more exercise it might take pity on me and stop throwing a tantrum if I feed it bacon?

You're a better person than me if you can force that down. It tastes like a cross between a firework and a plimsol, with a sprinkling of artificial bacon flavouring.

I thought my bacon woes might be over. It wasn't to be. I've taken the disappointment well I think.....

Bizarrely, until this thread I've never thought of it as an alternative - I don't know why!! I've been googling turkey bacon and I might give it a go.

I don't think it's the actual pork I'm allergic to, I think it's something they do to it. I can eat regular roast pork, and sausages. I have a similar reaction to some types of tuna too. I think it's either something IN it or how they process it but I can't work out exactly what. Again, absolutely gutted as I love a tuna mayo sandwich!

I bloody love bacon and eggs, and it's so quick to do. I miss it so much! I'm going to get some turkey bacon and nibble a little bit - I'll be able to tell straight away if there's a problem.

All the posters making up excuses for the woman who didn't know which animal bacon comes from - she was with (presumably) her husband. So if she was vulnerable, SEN or whatever wouldn't he have made sure that she had ordered something she could eat?

Black pudding is disgusting I would not want to eat that sandwich either. Imagine your roast lamb had a bit of tripe on it I mean it came from the same animal but it's not appetising at all.
All the nastiness aside I do see the humour in this situation. You probably turned her life upside down.
