Is anyone else slightly intrigued by Harry’s new book?

I wonder what he has said. Although I feel he is pushing himself even further away from his family.

Nope. Will not participate in this circus.

TerfQueen · 27/10/2022 23:10

No

Hellocatshome · 27/10/2022 23:11

I'm intrigued in the same way rubber neckers are intrigued by a car crash. Wont be buying it though.

Blocked · 27/10/2022 23:13

Might get it from the library although I imagine the highlights will be all over the news.

BonnesVacances · 27/10/2022 23:13

Yes, I'll read it. I read a lot of autobiographies anyway as I'm interested in people's lives. I've even read Ant & Dec's! Grin

AFAIK it's the media that's hyped it up to be a sensational warts and all book. It might not be shaming the RF and might just be interesting from the pov of how the other half live.

Duchess379 · 27/10/2022 23:14

No.

feindVicarInATutu · 27/10/2022 23:15

I'd be interested in what he wants to
Say . He is surely allowed an outlet - no longer a
Royal . I've frequently felt for him actually and I do think he's a
Decent human being, he's no worse than any other celebrity writing a book . I wish him well and hope he remains happy .
No child at 15 should be
Paraded behind their mothers coffin for the worlds press and for some ceremony.
I'm quite
Glad he's got out .

JudgeRindersMinder · 27/10/2022 23:15

Im morbidly curious but won’t be putting money in his pocket by buying it

TonTonMacoute · 27/10/2022 23:15

No, not even remotely

feindVicarInATutu · 27/10/2022 23:15

He's always seemed like a good egg . I like him .

RedDiamond · 27/10/2022 23:17

The tabloids will post most of it.

Am I curious? No. Am I feeling very sorry for him? Yes.

He cannot now stop the book but I bet he really regrets it now.

yellowbottles · 27/10/2022 23:19

I've preordered and am looking forward to it!

asblindasabat · 27/10/2022 23:19

I wonder what the Queen thought about him. I wonder did she get on with him or private or did she despise him after the Oprah interview.

TheBulletThatMissed · 27/10/2022 23:20

No. I’ll just pop on MN and get the highlights, that’s enough for me 😃

BobbyBobbyBobby · 27/10/2022 23:21

It doesn’t sound very uplifting does it?

It’s a case of (rightly or wrongly) ‘I didn’t feel loved growing up and now I want to whinge about it’!

cherrytreelanecherries · 27/10/2022 23:21

I feel bad for him, I think he regrets it.

I’m quite interested but probably not enough to buy it. As others have said, the most interesting bits will probably be in the papers.

ParkheadParadise · 27/10/2022 23:22

It will probably be a load of pish.

jollygreenpea · 27/10/2022 23:22

Am I interested?, not one bit, I think it will be hard to avoid the press will be full of it.

I don't feel sorry for him, he's made his bed.

He's her grandson and I'm pretty certain she knew how hard his mothers death was for him - I doubt she despised him at all. She conducted herself one way - but I feel she was quite
Tolerant of others and she loved her grandkids. I think it's quite mean to suggest otherwise really .
He's making his own way in the world and she appeared to respect that .

Regrets what?

I'll definitely be buying it.

Wanttobefree2 · 27/10/2022 23:25

I think he’s an spoilt brat. I can understand his position was hard as always being second best but I really just wish he would stop being such a victim.

feindVicarInATutu · 27/10/2022 23:26

I find it all quite
Sad .

He seems like a thoroughly decent bloke . His charity work and service in the forces - he's just following his own path and I say good for him .
I find the vitriol for him massively unsettling and uncalled for .

He's not gonna be our king - he knows that - he's doing what makes him
Happy and that's bowing out of the pomp and ceremony, for a family life elsewhere.

I find it most odd that anyone would begrudge him that .

I say good luck to
Him .

Blanketpolicy · 27/10/2022 23:27

It is going to be a whole lot of wallowing, some big reveals about something that was said/implied without actually naming the person he is accusing and how he is now so happy.

I imagine it will be as boring as watching paint dry. You would need to pay me to read it.

AWholePatchOfPumpkins · 27/10/2022 23:30

Yes, I’ll read it, interested to see what he has to say.

GreenLunchBox · 27/10/2022 23:31

I've pre-ordered it! Grin
