Inspired by some of the rigthmove threads on here, I bring you this cosy house!

Its certainly not to everyone's most peoples taste but you can't deny the love that's gone into decorating it. And look at the price 😳
Decorated with love

Gosh the amount of cleaning needed 😮
It's a lovely house.
The price is amazing.

The area's not awful, just not had the regeneration that other local former industrial towns have had

Oh come on, St Helen's and Clockface are truly grim (I've lived there).

Higglydy · 15/10/2022 18:28

I love it, the kitchen is gorgeous!

I'd choose that over a souless hinch-box any day! Gorgeous house, even if not entirely to my taste :)

scrivette · 15/10/2022 18:30

Oh how lovely!

WakingUpDistress · 15/10/2022 18:30

A lot if effort has gone into it.
But god. No that’s not my taste at all.

grannyjacob · 15/10/2022 18:38

I think it’s lovely, especially the kitchen and the wall-papers. It’s not just a house to me, it’s an obviously much loved home.

Peachspangle · 15/10/2022 18:38

I'm shocked at the price!

Juancornetto · 15/10/2022 18:38

😍 you can see the love and care in it

FistFullOfRegrets · 15/10/2022 18:39

CaptainMyCaptain · 15/10/2022 17:38

I love it and would move in tomorrow although I i dont think my husband would come with me. The kitchen and garden are perfect.

@CaptainMyCaptain

that could be win:win!!

FistFullOfRegrets · 15/10/2022 18:40

Maireas · 15/10/2022 17:34

Doesn't it?
Such an antidote to that dreadful anthracite grey we see everywhere.

@Maireas it's possible to compliment one thing without being rude about another.

Penguinsaregreat · 15/10/2022 18:44

The outside and garden is fabulous.

FistFullOfRegrets · 15/10/2022 18:45

CarefreeMe · 15/10/2022 18:10

Aww I love it! And so much better than all of the greys you see!

I’m a massive fan of pretty wallpaper which this place has.

Although there’s too much stuff like furniture and ornaments and I like minimal things in my home.

I'm sure they'll be taking the furniture & ornaments with them 😂😂

though that will cause a problem because if the wall paper fading and being much brighter where the furniture & pictures were. I think you'd have to redecorate throughout.

TheresABearOverThere · 15/10/2022 18:45

The garden is beautiful

Mollyplop999 · 15/10/2022 18:45

Absolutely love it!

A580Hojas · 15/10/2022 18:50

Absolutely gorgeous! I admire the current owners for putting so much effort in. Agree with everyone else who says it looks so much more appealing than the monochrome cubes we see everywhere now. It must be a wrench to leave.

CaptainMyCaptain · 15/10/2022 18:50

FistFullOfRegrets · 15/10/2022 18:39

@CaptainMyCaptain

that could be win:win!!

😜

PoundShopPrincess · 15/10/2022 18:50

It's lovely! I really like when people have little gallery areas covered in framed paintings. The gardens and plants are gorgeous.

A580Hojas · 15/10/2022 18:52

I also think the bathroom is a strong selling point.

GuyMontag · 15/10/2022 18:52

Agree that the kitchen, garden and wallpaper are all great. So much work and thought has gone into it. Looks like a quality sofa too.

senua · 15/10/2022 18:53

You can tell that the photographer absolutely loved doing that gig! I bet he is fed up of seeing hinch-grey on a daily basis.Smile

tsmainsqueeze · 15/10/2022 19:06

I absolutely love it ,i can imagine visiting there and feeling so comfortable and cosy , despite all the stuff it looks clean and i bet it smells lovely too.
The gardens would break my heart to leave.

Mumsgirls · 15/10/2022 19:09

Leasehold very common here. 0ften 999 years and small ground rent, not a problem

ofwarren · 15/10/2022 19:11

Leasehold common where I'm from too. My mum has no mortgage now but pays about £4 a year ground rent.

BlodynGwyn · 15/10/2022 19:12

I love it, especially the so-called clutter. They could give paid tours of that home and garden.
