Inspired by some of the rigthmove threads on here, I bring you this cosy house!

Its certainly not to everyone's most peoples taste but you can't deny the love that's gone into decorating it. And look at the price 😳
Decorated with love

It’s lovely

I love it. I live in the north west and so many little palaces. I love walking by tiny terraced houses with massive chandeliers in, or fuck off centre piece on a tiny dining table.

I have a small flat, and a giant bedroom chandelier Grin bloody love it

Folklore9074 · 15/10/2022 19:18

Could be wrong but I think I’ve seen this house featured on a BBC show called Back in Time for tea where a family eat the diet and live the life of yesteryear for a few weeks.

Pretty sure the guy that lived there was a 1930s decor fan.

I've got eclectic tastes, and although it's nothing like any home I've decorated I love it! It's got so much character, is so interesting, and the gardens are gorgeous 😍

FourChimneys · 15/10/2022 19:31

It's gorgeous. So many houses are identikit grey with furniture from IKEA, no personality at all.

We are starting to plan a new kitchen. I now want it that exact shade of green.

My aunt paid ground rent, six guineas a year, it never increased over several decades.

Rowgtfc72 · 15/10/2022 20:12

Love it !

norwichmummy123 · 15/10/2022 21:19

This is wonderful and charming

I really want to know what colour that green kitchen is painted.

Could it be this? www.littlegreene.com/sage-onions

TattiePants · 16/10/2022 00:26

It’s not my taste at all but I love it and it’s very in keeping with the period.

Ellmau · 16/10/2022 00:31

A lovely little house.

As well as the lease, a negative would be that the front garden, or part of it, is rented. And the second bedroom is very small.

KloppsTeeth · 16/10/2022 00:53

I love it! It oozes love in creating a home, and I think I would happily stay there. Some of the choices are bold and I wish I had that confidence as they really work.

Babyroobs · 16/10/2022 01:07

I really like this. IS St Helen's a good area ? It's a great price.

BarbaraofSeville · 16/10/2022 07:36

Friend of mine had a similar leasehold terrace. The lease was 999 years from when the house was built in the late 19th century and was £5 a year and couldn't increase.

There were no practical implications other than she wasn't allowed to keep pigs or sheep in her back garden.

Love the contrast of the iScreen thing in one of the bedrooms.

Bunnyfuller · 16/10/2022 10:37

I love it, they have a real flair. Family lovable? No, of course not, but if that’s your thing. I think they may well struggle to sell though, as so many are fixed on this ‘I’m so scandi minimalist monotone’ trend, which when you goon Rightmove are just like soulless copies of each other. Someone should send the pics to Country Living, you don’t have to be in a 14thC original monks birthing hut to have a bit of style.
