Inspired by some of the rigthmove threads on here, I bring you this cosy house!

Its certainly not to everyone's most peoples taste but you can't deny the love that's gone into decorating it. And look at the price 😳
Decorated with love

I love it. Shame it's leasehold or I'd seriously consider it 😀

Seemsok · 15/10/2022 17:21

I actually really love it ! So cheap, shall google where it is ! You couldn’t buy a garden shed where I live for that money.

RosaGallica · 15/10/2022 17:22

Aww that’s lovely - someone’s real labour of love. It’s got a stately home feel in that living room with all those pictures.

Where do you get that hummingbird wallpaper from??

Also thought it was lovely until I saw it was leasehold.

The hummingbird wallpaper is lovely. Anyone seen similar? Would love that in my new lounge. .

There's a reason it's so cheap.
The area, whilst not terrible, certainly isn't great.

The same house four miles away in Newton-le-Willows would be pushing £200k and 15 miles away in Allerton (Liverpool) would be £220k+

I really quite like it. If you look at the Similar Properties, there is one where clearly an older person has died or moved into care and sold up and one that has been flipped and all white walls, glossy surfaces and grey carpet. I'd much rather have the Ops one, ofcourse it wouldn't look the same once all the furniture was gone.

ToffeeNotCoffee · 15/10/2022 17:25

Move all the overwhelming tat out of it.....

I love the hummingbird wallpaper too.

Cocolapew · 15/10/2022 17:26

I like it, the bathroom wallpaper is lovely.

Potat0soup · 15/10/2022 17:27

I thought the flowers were fake it was so colourful. I love it and the green kitchen. Actually I love lots of it.

FabulouslyFab · 15/10/2022 17:27

The televisions look quite out of place!
it’s marvellous.

SpacePotato · 15/10/2022 17:33

So much love has gone into that house and garden.

Makes such a change from bland white and grey show homes.

Maireas · 15/10/2022 17:34

Doesn't it?
Such an antidote to that dreadful anthracite grey we see everywhere.

That wallpaper is lovely.

BucketofTeaMassiveCake · 15/10/2022 17:43

I like the general quirky cottage style, but as my old art teacher used to say, you have to know when to stop. However, it is obviously well-loved by the present owner. If it was in my area and not leasehold, I'd certainly be interested if I was looking for a move.

WetLettuce2 · 15/10/2022 17:44

I love it so much !! This is what my lottery house would be like - smallish and cosy and filled with beautiful things !

Siddalee…yes I live other end of the country but was hoping it was StHelens near Hastings 😊

midsomermurderess · 15/10/2022 17:46

I love the hummingbird wall paper.

girlmom21 · 15/10/2022 17:46

I love the kitchen and garden. Very cute.

Kanaloa · 15/10/2022 17:50

It’s a bit much for me. Like an American author’s idea of what the protagonist’s British aunt’s home should look like. Especially the living room - like Downton Abbey in miniature, except the whole point of a big stately home is that the OTT feel is diluted by the sheer size of the place.

slo · 15/10/2022 17:51

I love the green in the kitchen. Really lovely home.
