What a huge loss to the entertainment industry a massive part of my childhood with the Harry Potter franchise.

Oh my goodness. That's sad. So many gone from those films now.

He somehow even made a half giant seem real. Hagrid was an absolute legend!

So sad. First remember him in Tutti Frutti, then Cracker and of course as Hagrid.

To me, he will always be 'Comic Strip'.

Thats really sad. He was a great actor. Loved him as Hagrid. Watched only a couple of the Fitz programmes but they dont seem to be repeated. Just heard it on sky news.
