What do you eat with peanut butter?

Having just discovered that I love peanut butter, I mostly have it on toast. What else goes well with it?

With slices of apple.

In a sandwich with sliced bananas, add Nutella if you’re very hungry or have PMT.

In a sandwich with marmite.

On a crepe with sliced banana.

I make a lovely peanut butter flapjack.

Peanut butter biscuits - just PB, sugar and egg

Banana on toast

Make brownies and swirl some in the pan before baking in the oven.

Marmite. Tastes like dry roasted peanuts.

Salt and vinegar crisps in a sandwich. Delicious.

Make a peanut chicken satay

Speaking from extensive user testing I’m happy to report you want:

• brown bread, toasted
• peanut butter, be generous
• sliced banana (optional but v nice)
• honey or maple syrup
• ideally served with tea/coffee

have you tried the Aldi ‘Foodie Market’ peanut butter, it is very very good just 100% peanuts ( I do put a sprinkle of salt on mine on toast though )

Ooh some nice sounding combinations there. I did try it with jam and wasn’t keen. I think breakfast tomorrow is peanut butter and banana.

It's even better if you have Nutella with it too.

Scooped up with my finger out of the jar. Any supermarket own brand crunchy. Smooth is wrong.

I love peanut butter. Peanut butter on rice cakes is a staple snack here. Also peanut butter on apple slices. Peanut butter on toast with sliced banana is a very good hangover cure!
As a savoury option, peanut butter with Marmite is surprisingly good (but give the actual Marmite peanut butter a swerve...it's not good🤢)

With honey on toast.

Yak! The devil's food, clogs my mouth up and can't never get rid of the taste. Although I do love salted peanuts

Oh and yes, definitely HAS to be crunchy and the Aldi NAS version is my favourite

On toast or a cinnamon bagel then topped with sliced banana is my go to but have also added it to porridge and pancakes. It’s also nice in cupcakes or with apple dipped in to it.

I have mine in full fat natural yoghurt. Sometimes also add some vanilla bean paste.

That sounds delicious I love dry roast peanuts will definitely have to try that.
