What’s everyone’s plans for half term?

I'm going to the FiLiA conference in Cardiff. Can't wait!

I'm seeing Kiefer Sutherland in concert. So excited 😁

I'm a teacher and will be running free family craft sessions for parents and children 🎃 then spending some time with DH and our DCs pumpkin carving!

Day in London
Overnight stay with friends and their new baby
Morning at a spa
Maybe some forest school type outdoor activities
Our youngest's birthday party

Prepping for 7+ exams 🥴

2 caravan park holidays!

Couple of days in Amsterdam.

Caravan holiday 1 with my “in house” family (as in everyone that lives in my house) and two neighbours and kids, come home for the weekend, caravan holiday number 2 with my sister and cousin and all our kids leaving the men at home. 3 women, 11 kids. Carnage! Back home for the weekend.

Working. My week won't change unfortunately.

We're going to Cyprus, DT's (5) first time flying 😬. Our first holiday since 2015. I'm beyond excited!

I'm going to India to meet DP's family for the first time 😬🤦🏼‍♀️.

DD is spending half term with her dad.

If we ever make a decision on where to go, we may be on holiday.

We've been talking about it in 6 weeks and theoretically going in two. It's bordering on the ridiculous now 🙄

Ours is two weeks (first one we’ve ever had, is two weeks normal now?) and we’re decamping to our home up North. This will let the children spend some time with their grandparents, letting us two have a couple of nights for us. We need to decide what we do with it, but are thinking of Nice, NYC, or Amsterdam.

Primary school teacher here: 2 weeks is normal for private schools but I've only ever heard of 1 week for state schools.

Nottinghamshire changed to a two week autumn half term and took a week off summer, not sure if anywhere has has done the same

We have booked a cottage in the Lake District.

Going to Cyprus with DC to meet up with DH who is currently working overseas.

We're going to the Peak District.
It was supposed to be Munich but the Airbnb host cancelled 😡

Our state primary school always had 2 weeks in oct half term. 5 weeks off in the summer. It was a really good way of working it.
Our Private school has one week.

I'm next door in Derbyshire and we still only have one week.

I'll be working, this is our busiest time of year. DC will probably be off out with their friends.
