Gas energy rebate

Has anyone with British Gas received their energy rebate yet?

My email said Id get £67 into my account a few days after I paid. The money for the DD came out on the 3rd but no sign of the £67 coming in!

Have others had theirs?!

I got my UW bill yesterday and they've taken the £66 off what they'll take via DD. I'm just putting the money aside in case it gets more expensive over winter.

So BG have transferred it in that it's showing as "pending" in my bank account for tomorrow! Finally!

Not sure I would class 9 days later as a "few days!"

As predicted mine arrived in my bank account this morning. As most people seem to have paid the dd on 3 Oct then I guess some of the delay may be due to which bank you're with, most is obvs due to British Gas though.

I'm with British Gas I had £66 paid into my bank account this morning ,I was expecting it to be taken off the direct debit, anyway its a few days before pay day so quite a pleasant surprise

Still nothing here. DD was 1st (but went out the 3rd) Showing in my billing account on the 7th but not in my bank account nor showing as pending.

My situation is complicated. Landlord is in control of the bills, but is not in the UK. Is billed by British Gas though. Would they still get the discount, and therefore pass it on to me?

@XenoBitch Is the bill addressed to you or the landlord? Does the payment come out of your account or the landlords account?

British gas is refunding the payment to the funding bank account

Addressed to landlord. He was wondering if the discount would apply as he is not in the UK. But I figure it would as he as an account with BG.

Straw poll wise, a lot of us seem to have paid our Direct Debits on the 3rd, and didn't get the credit until today. 8 days is unacceptable.

Total piss take. As per the petrol / diesel companies. Putting the prices up, but not lowering them when the Govt told them to. Delays give them even heftier profits.

Mine was the 3rd (scheduled for the 1st) and still not paid. Judging by Facebook I'm not on my own....

Mine isn't in my bank account yet, although it's showing on my BG app. So 9 days tomorrow they've held onto my money, presumably accruing interest for them!

Mine finally went in to my bank account today and I received a text message to tell me that it had. I'm with Scottish Power. My dd comes out on the 1st of the month.

Mine's in! 9 days after the dd went out (and its supposed to go out on the 1st usually so perhaps 12 days in total)

Got mine this morning too.

We pay monthly by variable direct debit, the exact amount of the bill each month all year round. No big credits or debits accruing that way.
The October bill was generated on 4th and the £66 credit was applied to the account the following day ahead of the DD being collected in 10 days time.

I buy my electricity from British Gas and my October direct debit was refunded this morning, just nine days after it was originally debited. I was puzzled at first but now it makes sense. BG would still like me to increase my DD by another £13 per month!

I've not had my October refund yet from British Gas and now November direct debit also been taken. Can't get through to anyone in customer services, any one else in same situation? Thanks
