Gas energy rebate

Has anyone with British Gas received their energy rebate yet?

My email said Id get £67 into my account a few days after I paid. The money for the DD came out on the 3rd but no sign of the £67 coming in!

Have others had theirs?!

Just just BG account incase that's what they're playing at but not sign...

If they billed me on the 3rd then today is 4th working day (or 5th if you include the 3rd..)

Great to heat if anyone is getting their rebates with British Gas!

Sorry, Not British Gas, but I’ve woken up to a £66 payment to my bank from Ovo. My DD to them comes out on the 1st.

Thanks we might be a couple of days behind then. My dd is normally the 1st but it came out on the 3rd (monday) so maybe BG will eventually get there next week! We're not high income so it will make a difference to us!

I've just checked my energy bill and it looks like it's been credited to the energy account yesterday and paid out to the bank account.

I have the same.

When they refunded some of my money earlier in the year it showed the outgoing payment on British gas on Friday 29 July and it hit my bank account on Wednesday 3 August. So a few more days probably.

When you say in your account you mean your bank account? Not British gas account (I haven't got credit from them in either!)

Sorry for late reply. It has been credit to my British Gas account not my back account!

I'm with British Gas, in credit, and today my credit has increased by £66 so think they're adding it to the gas account rather than bank account.

I'm with BG. Direct debit went out on the 3rd and no sign of a credit or repayment yet.

I only asked because I'm with utility warehouse and they charge a month behind, so I've just paid Septembers bill at the start of this month, so we're not getting the reduction until the start of November as it's coming off Octobers bill, if that makes sense, but judging by PP's you pay BG in advance.

EON took £67 off my standing order on 01/10/22. I thought that's what all providers were doing? Crediting energy accounts?? I hope yours gets sorted soon. The credit won't mean anything as the cost of fuel has increased!!

I've been panicking wondering what happened to mine, and it appeared in my bank this morning. The DD goes out on the first of the month.

The leaflet I got from Scottish gas said if you paid direct debit it would be refunded to bank account , if not direct debit then to gas account online . Still waiting , my dd came out on the 3rd .

With EDF here, with Direct Debit being taken on Monday 3rd October.
EDF advise:
"An automatic refund payment will be made within five working days of your normal payment date."

I doubt they will rush paying it out, so I'm thinking I'm probably looking at Monday-Tuesday next week. Not had anything refunded today (yet).

OVO credited my account with them yesterday but then today it was refunded to my bank account. I am in credit with them though.

I know that on Wednesday I was £485 in credit but yesterday £551 so I have presumed it's the £66 credit. Nothing from SP to confirm this.

Eon Next here, now £286 in credit after they've applied the first payment on top of what I built up over the summer.

I've also noticed that they've cancelled my direct debit (on a fixed rate and pay £60 a month combined) so I've quickly reinstated that.
