It's a Victoria Beckham Galaxy dress.

@verdantverdure Thank you for the link. How do we get this out there so that many more people take notice of what is happening? I know lots of people hate what is occuring but how do we get a GE , this needs to stop before they utterly destroy our wonderful country.
So scary when he said those things about the rise of Fascism. I hated, hated , hated Truss's speech at the conference, it made me think of other despicable speeches made in other times.

Lonelycrab · 06/10/2022 21:14

It's a Victoria Beckham Galaxy dress

Is it this one? Really suits her imo.

I'm not a conservative, but I've been hearing about them selling off the NHS for years and it's not happened , yet.
The PFI the Labour Party took out is still being paid back too. That hasn't helped matters.
I just hope they get a grip of it , but nobody seems to be able to sort out its huge problems and everyone agrees that managers need to be cut back too.
It's going to be a juggernaut to turn around and money is going to be in short supply especially after paying off the every companies too.
What that money could have done instead :(

It was hugely popular maybe 10 years ago because it was said to suit everyone. Kate Winslet wore it well.

I read it's a Karen Millen Forever dress and Kate Middleton has one

Public information campaign to cut energy use and avoid blackouts?

Energy minister Graham Stuart to @LBC
: "We are not a nanny state government."
twitter.com/theousherwood/status/1578279844638470145?s=20&t=hY8hYppLA7wjJoKFesdozA

From The Times - No 10 has blocked a public information campaign encouraging people to save energy

Jacob Rees-Mogg signed off plans for campaign with potential £15m budget in recent days

No 10 rejected it today amid claims Truss is ideologically opposed.

They want to keep people in the dark! Or more simply they know that Truss said they would be no blackouts this winter and were hoping to avoid more negative headlines.

DuncinToffee · 07/10/2022 08:45

How can you be "ideologically opposed" to energy saving!?

Don't look up

Cornettoninja · 07/10/2022 09:06

It’s quite easy, you just have to be a wanker.

DuncinToffee · 07/10/2022 09:07

This was shared on the brexit thread, wtf!

But….but…. Think tanks are the enemy aren’t they?

I can’t keep up with whether we’re at war with Eurasia or Eastasia.

DuncinToffee · 07/10/2022 09:22

Is this going to be the party defence line?

Maria Caulfield
I’m all for an energy saving campaign this winter but do we need to spend £15 million to do that. The PM is right to question if this is the best use of tax payers money.

Because
Whitehall about to embark on a mega advertising blitz to promote government policies - ministers given £930m to spend on advertising space to tout policies in deals until 2025

DuncinToffee · 07/10/2022 09:23

We are going to need a bigger thread....

Nearly a billion pounds on adverts😳

the80sweregreat · 07/10/2022 09:33

That is totally out of order isn't it?
Yet the nhs workers ask for a pay rise and told no ( or not what they ask for anyway )
The trouble is most people don't know or care about this extra spending that goes on for other things :(
The magic money trees have been growing then

verdantverdure · 07/10/2022 11:40

I'm pretty sure that £65 billion the Bank of England had to spend to save pension funds could've given everybody in the NHS a decent pay rise for a very long time
