Nick Robinson made it clear those local radio interviews were booked months ago. Standard part of pre conference communications apparently.

They just couldn't afford to cancel them in the sense they'd exacerbate the idea she was hiding.

It should serve as a sharp reminder of the value of local radio with the BBC.

Truss and Kwarteng doubling down overnight is to be expected. This is a cult, defined by their overwhelming belief in their world view. They are right, we are wrong. Check the comments by Minford and others

Completely agree @DuncinToffee. it’s one of the reasons it’s so hard for alternative views and outright evidence to penetrate.

Cummings is a dick but he understood the psychology and played to its strengths. In another universe he used his talent for good.

Why isn't Ms Truss mentioning the borrowing ?
