The bit at the end with the Lord Chamberlain will be the hardest to watch I think, signaling the end of his service to her, as will the act of separating her from her crown.

I know everyone isn't a royalist but today will be such a sad occasion.

I would have thought the sailors would have shaved. My DH is a Sergeant in the RM. No facial hair allowed.

Carrie Johnson looks fantastic

Liz Truss always makes me think shes going to burst out laughing. It might be a nervous thing but I always feel like she looks really awkward.

I'd feel awkward too if I'd just started a new job and had had all this land on me in less than two weeks!

A bit of crown did fall off one funeral. Maybe George V. Can't remember. So it will all have been overhauled by the jewellers and it's fixed to the coffin
