This is a real good guide for all the timings for tomorrow - www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-60617519

The bit at the end with the Lord Chamberlain will be the hardest to watch I think, signaling the end of his service to her, as will the act of separating her from her crown.

I know everyone isn't a royalist but today will be such a sad occasion.

Fabulous choir.

Does anyone know why there was so much sand outside? It looked really scruffy like someone needed to brush up? Surprised given it’s being shown world wide

I think for grip?

Bemyclementine · 19/09/2022 11:00

The close up of the crown got me.

HeidiWhole · 19/09/2022 11:00

Gosh those lads in the bearer party are so young. Barely out of their teens by the look of them. I wonder how well they slept last night!

RAFOfficer · 19/09/2022 11:01

The sand outside is to muffle the sound of all the marching feet

Don't drop it
dont drop it
dont drop it

I'm old enought to recall Churchill's funeral when a poor guardsman slip on the steps of St Pauls, it was January and must hae been icy.

vroom321 · 19/09/2022 11:01

Worms destroy this body 😭

The flowers are beautiful. I wonder what it says on the card?

It starts with "in loving..."

To level the ground for the gun carriage I think. Fill in any manholes etc

Grip, how else would shoes with zero grip take a bend.

JustlookingNotbuying · 19/09/2022 11:01

Belledan1 I was just thinking the same, they don’t look much older than my 17 year old ds. Their parents must be so very proud.

XXV · 19/09/2022 11:01

Oh Princess Anne. She looks so sad. 😢

MarshaBradyo · 19/09/2022 11:01

The singing is incredible

spanieleyes · 19/09/2022 11:02

The royal ladies have joined the procession

SoupDragon · 19/09/2022 11:02

I see George is with his dad

Was just thinking her and Harry seem to look like they are struggling the most with emotion.

My hearts breaking for the family more than the death of the queen. My mum dies a few months ago and it's such a horrid thing to manage.

Hazelmary18 · 19/09/2022 11:03

I'm a blubbering mess. It's all absolutely beautiful. The song the choir is singing is stunning. I don't know how the people there aren't crying.

SoupDragon · 19/09/2022 11:03

And Charlotte with her mum. There was talk on another thread about them being separate.

Vapeyvapevape · 19/09/2022 11:03

Beautiful choir

Sunbird24 · 19/09/2022 11:03

George & Charlotte in between their parents, bless them

Andante57 · 19/09/2022 11:03

Yes. I wonder if any of their parents will be asked for comments by the papers over the next few days.

MrsTimRiggins · 19/09/2022 11:03

Well I’m in floods. I’m not normally very tearful as a person but this is beautiful, and it’s so hard to see Charles and Anne and Harry and William… well all of them, they alll look so sad

tableanadchairs · 19/09/2022 11:03

Princess Anne is ony just holding it together

SoupDragon · 19/09/2022 11:03

I think William is struggling to hold back tears there.

sparklecement · 19/09/2022 11:03

the sand is there to cover cracks in the road. To help horses and also have you any idea how slidey military footwear is.
