Who thought to put it at the side where they sign. They have all moved it. The King wiggling the pens will become a meme...

Charles could have quite easily picked up the ink pot and passed it to someone or at least asked someone to remove it "could you please... etc". You know, manners!

Let's face it he's THE KING. It was his show, who would have said 'no, we don't do it like that'

William just dealt with it by moving it up onto the document itself.
Whilst I'm not sure what Charles did was so bad, I think it was impatient and William definitely seems a lot calmer and more patient which I think are good traits.

I am not a royalist, quite the opposite. But the whole desk and pen thing was a shambles and if that was my most massive day at work in the view of the world and I was grieving I'd have been so flustered and angry that I may not have been able to be polite about asking for help or sorting this out. Someone should have been on it. I thought they actually showed a human side even to William moving the ink pot to a safer spot.
