My vote is for the Waitrose Salt Beef Pretzel Sub by Heston - bloody delicious (£5.60 though 😳)
Any other recommendations for the days I can't take a packed lunch?

I’ve just remembered the incredible tuna melt sandwich that M&S used to do years ago. It must have been discontinued for a good 10 years at least now. It was tuna Mayo in crusty white bread with this grilled topping of cream cheese and spring onions and mature cheddar. So good.

Tesco smoked salmon and cream cheese on oat bread.

Years ago (20 or more), M&S used to do a lovely Lemon Chicken sandwich.

I also like their beef, horseradish and rocket sandwich, not sure if that’s still around.

Paddingtonthebear · 18/08/2022 23:24

Not even a sandwich but I also like the Pret hot falafel wrap

A relatively new love: M&S egg and tomato with salad cream. Old school and brilliant
otherwise: M&S prawn cocktail or Sainsburys TTD New York deli, or beef and horseradish.

M&S poached salmon and watercress; Tesco Finest smoked salmon and cream cheese (black oblong pack);
EAT tuna melt RIP

I had an M&S Wensleydale and carrot chutney sandwich at work yesterday because of this thread. It was very nice although not up there with my favourites.
