for me its Paolo Nutini's Candy, oh my goodness I could listen to it over and over.

Others are Massive Attacks Teardrop, takes me back to when I was at secondary school and Tracy Chapman Talkin About A Revolution - seems very apt atm

This one!

@ZuzuSusu Love Interpol. Not a bad ear worm to have.

Also, The Look is often stuck in my head @SequinsandStilettos I know what you mean about the keyboard having a similar sound for all of those songs. It's like they are small notes and quite repetitive.

The Damned’s cover of Love’s “Alone Again Or”.

I haven't heard that song for ages, I loved it as a teen.

It was on a CD that a friend made for us when we got married and it was our 20th anniversary this week so I've been reminiscing!

Diamant by Rammstein. Teaching myself to play it 🖤

Such a beauty of a song. I taught myself this one on the cello.

TheFormidableMrsC · 20/08/2022 23:26

Joji - A glimpse of us. Oh my goodness, the most beautiful song. So powerful. I've listened to it over and over.

Jellykat · 20/08/2022 23:37

The Cure - Lullaby
and a newly discovered duet from Debbie Harry and Billie Eilish - Is that all there is? from last year

by The Claypool Lennon Delirium. I genuinely feel like Sean is doing his fathers unfinished work with his music. I would love to think John is beaming some of his ideas down through the stars or the DNA or however it might work. This whole album js like Sgt. Pepper on even more drugs. I love it.

Another vote for I Do This All The Time by Self Esteem - so original.
Also loving Sam Fender's Saturday and Seventeen Going Under.
And Paulo Nutini's new album.
Looking forward to seeing them all perform at Victorious Festival next weekend Smile

Phoebe Bridger's Stranger In The Alps album has the calibre of song writing that for me it sits alongside albums like Taylor Swifts Folklore; all Swifty fans should give it a listen imho

Phoebe and Taylor have recorded together.

Been searching for a thread like this! Was about to start a What Are We Listening To? Then found this!
I'm obsessed with Public Service Broadcasting at the moment. I listened to and watched their BBC Prom which gave me the tingles. And I've seen them twice live.
I'm also hoping Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott come a little closer to me on tout, but it's looking like I may have to schlep up to London just before Xmas.

Oh are we doing this again? I see @Crankley has reanimated the thread. Back in August my choice was The Struts/PSB but with it being Christmas I am now enjoying The Darkness-Don't Let the Bells End.Xmas Grin

Well, glad this has returned as I missed Homer singing Wichita Lineman first time round. I have been playing They live in you and Jersualema non-stop and Mein Herr all because of Strictly, Candy (Cameo) because of Killing Eve and various pop combos today because of a Girls Aloud thread.
But have mainly had Peter Gabriel Mercy Street and Red Rain in my head as I came across live versions recently that were just beautiful.

ineedastrongercoffee · 11/12/2022 09:47

Stevie Nicks - Age of Seventeen
George Michael - they won’t go where we go - I’ll never not adore this song

transvision vamp - baby I don’t care 😂
