What song are you obsessed with at the moment

for me its Paolo Nutini's Candy, oh my goodness I could listen to it over and over.

Others are Massive Attacks Teardrop, takes me back to when I was at secondary school and Tracy Chapman Talkin About A Revolution - seems very apt atm

Not obsessed with but.. or caught my attention. Gary Numan Lost

He seems to have a great relationship with his 3 daughters who clearly dig him and his music - 2 of them at least sometimes sing with him.

The album Savage from 2017 was an unexpected surprise to me - I hadn't heard him in years - I listened to it a lot and it's nothing like what I normally listen to bit I went backwards to the previous album Splinter which Lost is on and that's equally good.

I had heard it a few times but it was used recently in Big Boys and I now have an ear worm.
This song then leads me onto Pulp's Feeling called Love.
Which in turn takes me back to Fantasy Island covered by Tight Fit.
All three have a repeated keyboard thing going on - maybe a musician can explain it to me, that they all share an upper chord or something!

Oh and One republic's Everybody loves me, the opening of that reminds me of Beck. Came across it as I was listening to the Maverick one. Thought Everybody Loves Me was also recent then discovered it's from 2009!!!!

Started by singing “Tempted” by the Squeeze word perfect this morning at breakfast time (no idea why) and ended up going down a Paul Carrack rabbit hole.

So many great songs from my time but “Looking Back Over my Shoulder” is the one that has stuck.

Phoebe Bridger's Stranger In The Alps album has the calibre of song writing that for me it sits alongside albums like Taylor Swifts Folklore; all Swifty fans should give it a listen imho
