To show you what a few traffic-stopping Mumsnetters got up to in the sun today?

These were the scenes outside hot and sunny Belfast City Hall earlier today as quite a few Mumsnetters joined thousands of other people in stopping the traffic for Noah Donohoe.

As is always the way with some of the media when it comes to Noah, I've seen it being underreported as 'hundreds' and 'over a thousand' but, as the BBC and others say, as the photos show and as people there saw with their own eyes, it was thousands.

The road was left open at first, but the sheer numbers in the crowd closed it by default. When the police then announced they'd closed it 'for an event' - not even being able to say Noah's name, apparently - a few people, very peacefully but clearly, gave them the message.
