My first attempt at Redactle. I got it on the 101th word with just 40.59% accuracy - need more practice so tried Redactle Unlimited and that was much better. I solved Redactle Unlimited in 32 guesses with 81.25% accuracy! That was much better. I probably need to develop a strategy rather than randomly guessing words!

@Plantstrees when you've been playing a while you start to pick up clues in the text as you start to recognise sentence structure, word length, italics etc. On top if that, we all have our favourite topics we do better in (and others that can reduce us to tears)

i cant say i really read much of the text, but just the basics

and worked out the area the subject was in and words related to that area!

9 guesses, 77.78% accuracy. Wasn’t actually expecting that to be the actual answer :)

Oh - I was looking at @Dreikanter and @MissedItByThisMuch who were talking about yesterday's which I missed! I presume it was somewhat easier than today's!

Never heard of that, eventually uncovered enough of the article that I could Google it.

I got really lucky with one weird phrase 🍀

I got lucky too and was able to use Google to find the actual word.

I solved today's Redactle (#125) in 79 guesses with an accuracy of 48.10%. That was a slog.

Thought I would know it, kept guessing, gave in and googled at 175 guesses (and I'd never heard of it).

I got the right sort of thing, but it wasn't the one 6 lettered example I could think of so googled from bits I had. Turned out I had heard of it but I really don't think I'd have extracted the word from the recesses of my brain.

Even worse today at 129 guesses with only 24.03% accuracy.

Even when I had many useful words in and had a good idea what I was looking for, I still couldn't guess so had to use Google - not a word I am familiar with!

Had to google once I got the area, not something I'm familiar with.

Once I knew what sort of thing I was looking for I had to Google and am none the wiser!

@BIWI Yesterday’s was a physics one (Heat) which is an area I have quite a bit of knowledge in. It started “In (14 letter blank)” which I guessed as thermodynamics from some format/context lower down. Should have got it in 2 really.
