I think people who get it in one or two should be obligated to explain how or I suspect they cheated (only kidding Errol )

textual clues should give some idea of the general area. Then at some point scanning through, the 14 letter word in the opening para clicked after which it was obvious. I use my fingers for counting on when assessing possibilities rather than typing in guesses.
