Are there more wheels than doors in the world?

Dd and I think doors, Ds is adamant it’s wheels.

I think it's wheels. Apparently lego make more wheels than there are real ones in the world (haven't fact-checked)

Hmmm interesting. I'm thinking it could be doors you know.
Thinking of all the big tower blocks around the world, that's a lot of doors.

Doors I think. How many doors in your home? I've counted...I have 11. I have one car...with four wheels.

What's a wheel? What's a door? Do you include cupboard doors? The wheels that make machinery like conveyor belts work?

Mind you, my DD has loads of Lego wheels and toy cars...but then like a pp said, are you counting cupboard doors?

I'd say wheels.

I think wheels. In the living room where I'm currently sitting I've just counted 58 wheels on a bunch of toy trucks and cars and I'm sure there are plenty more that I'm missed!

Think of all the doors on all of the advent calendars around the world - cruise ships filled with doors - cupboard doors - high rise buildings with doors etc etc I'm team doors!

And a steering wheel don't forget. Oh and the car also has several doors...

I still think doors. Doors on cars, doors in buildings, doors on cupboards/cabinets/appliances, doors on advent calendars (hadn’t thought of that one - thank you!), trap doors, secret doors, doors on toy vehicles.

Oh yes the doors on a car will cancel out the number of wheels.

To answer, I think wheels. Think of all those toy cars, wheels in machinery (cogs etc.), trains, planes, cars, motorbikes, pedal bikes, boats etc.

Not on a lorry though, aha!

Wheels in clocks - cogs, they count as wheels right?

But most of our toy vehicles don't have doors. I've just looked. They have real wheels, but the doors are just painted/moulded on so don't open.

Wheels definitely. Think about how many mechanical objects use wheels in their workings.

Wheels on the bottom of sofas, wheels on the systems used for operating roller blinds, wheels on the bottom of an office chair, wheels are used to make lifts go up and down, wheels on Zimmer frames, wheels on large farm machinery, wheels on shopping trolleys, wheels on those big metal cages that are used in warehouses, wheels on your robot hoover, wheels on your full size hoover....

True. Lots of toy trains in the world too without proper doors.

I think wheels - think about things like shopping trollies, suitcases, prams, machinery, cars, lorries, bikes, motorbikes, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, office chairs, hospital beds, children's toys, furniture... so many things have wheels!!

Between me and my DH we have 14 wheels and 18 doors

I'm really surprised people think that the wheels on their car are the only wheels they own! For most people this is definitely not true. Just look around you.

How many doors does your car have?

Have you counted things like your Hoover, furniture with wheels etc? This sounds low.

In my living room alone I have 4 wheels. The two office chairs add another 10. Then 2 for the robot hoover, 2 for the big hoover. Then cars, bikes, roller blinds.....
