Currently 32 in Walsall, West Mids.

it was only 21 when i drove into work and it's quite overcast so much more pleasant (so far!) than yesterday. We've got the fire door open for some fresh air which is nice as yesterday we kept everything closed because it was cooler inside than out.

I think about 30 degrees now, set to hit 41 later 😓

19° here and this is the peak of the heat for today, there's a gentle breeze and sunshine and there will be some rain later. You wouldn't believe it was 29° most of yesterday.

SE London, 34 in the garden. Humidity is low and there's a breeze which helps. It's not as bad as it could have been at this temp.

My phone app says 23 degrees.

I took dog for a pre booked groom this morning and carried him the short walk from the car to the salon - the pavement is in full sun. Even on the short distance I wouldn't risk his paws - probably 10-15 human steps.

He'll be thankful for the haircut and shower when I pick him up later.

35 in Worcestershire today. We have a nice breeze if we open the doors/windows. It's much more pleasant than yesterday and it's only supposed to increase by a couple of degrees and peak much earlier than yesterday which is good news.

Just turned my air con unit on in the office, need to cool it fully before my 3hr meeting later where I'll have to turn it off cause it's loud.

38 in SW London. I can't believe I walked all around the Colosseum and climbed Mt Vesuvius in this heat a few years ago - I didn't feel good but today feels hotter!
