38 bordering on 39 and we are in the dreaded A1/M1 corridor where they say it will get higher than that by 4pm. Just looked at train times into London to see if there are any delays and it seems there are because the next train is tomorrow!

38 in East Northants, inside is 28 whereas it was about 25 yesterday, it had a much higher starting point this morning. Tonight is going to be very hot I suspect

39 in Beckenham! Just had my first walk after being indoors for 11 days after giving birth and absolutely loved it! Just what I needed for a quick charge of vitamin D and sun on my skin. Felt like holiday ☀️

Your thermometer needs to be in the shade to give an accurate reading

I'm afraid to be really accurate it shouldn't be attached to anything like a wall either ( heat from the wall structure can distort the readings..),

It's fun comparing temps like this but without making sure a thermometer is carefully housed and situated errors will creep in...sometimes some quite big errors.
