Edinburgh southside 20c and cloudy.Popped out for milk mid morning and caught a lovey shower.Neighbour said its to heat up around 2pm😕

Im in Dorset too and its gorgeous, met office app says its 28 and not saying rain but microsoft weather on my laptop is. Hoping if it does come its gone by late afternoon as want to hit the beach and cool off in the sea

remember the record in 2019 and this is worse. Not just heat but ferocity of the sun. Went in the garden earlier and it’s brutally intensive. Burn time minutes I would say. Everything in the garden crispy, lawn scorched. Hardly slept for 2 nights as so hot. Been ~30 degrees several times already this summer.

Currently 28 on a SW beach as it's dropped due to the rain I can see in the distance. Breeze is much cooler too.

No idea how hot it is outside. Met office is saying it's 35 but as it's 31 in here I suspect that's an understatement. When I woke this morning the hot air coming through the window was like a hair dryer!!

I'm in the north west, it's 38 currently, going to hit 39 at around 2pm apparently. Fortunately it's then going to drop quite rapidly and it's expected to be 22 by 10-11pm which is when I will be flinging all the windows open. I've managed to keep the house at about 26 by closing all the windows and curtains and using black out blinds where I can. It will be wonderful to feel a cool breeze.

38 here in Norfolk but working in a tiny kitchen that has a. wood fired oven that’s currently sitting at 350 degrees C. It’s pretty dang toasty!

38 here in Yorkshire, I’ve just been outside and the garden smells like hey as the grass is so scorched 🥵

39 where I am I Yorkshire now and the power cuts have started

38 bordering on 39 and we are in the dreaded A1/M1 corridor where they say it will get higher than that by 4pm. Just looked at train times into London to see if there are any delays and it seems there are because the next train is tomorrow!
