I have arranged for an ice cream van to visit my office

… and hand out free ice creams (well, not free, I’m paying obviously). I thought people might like it but I didn’t realise quite HOW excited they would get! I guess everyone just loves a flake 99 🤣

DPs boss did that once. He still talks about it years later. I wish I had been there to watch a load of hairy arsed high vis clad blokes running across a demolition site to queue up at an ice cream van.

My Ds’s workplace (metalworks, very, very hot🔥) stop work at
2-30pm every day, for a ice lolly break, which is much appreciated! They also gave out 4pks of beer for the weekend last Friday. He’s never worked for such a caring firm …. I’m jealous…. My workplace is nothing like this!🤨

What a great idea! We flew to the U.S. a few years ago with Virgin Atlantic; it was a very dull flight until the cabin crew started handing out choc ices. Such a little thing but people perked up and started chatting to their neighbours
