My son got a first at RG Uni and has won a prize for his dissertation and top marks for his course!! As you can imagine I am absolutely bursting with pride but my cohort have had massive problems with their children generally! I just cannot share this news for a few weeks. It would be lovely to share this positive news 😘

What is RG Uni ??????

Bellysmackers · 14/07/2022 18:12

You absolutely deserve to be bursting with pride!! Congratulations to your son - a bright future awaits him !

LovelyLisa2 · 14/07/2022 18:15

Oh amazing! I would brag xx

wiccamum · 14/07/2022 18:15

RG means it’s a Russell Group university. They share a lot of research with each other and are considered quite prestigious because of the focus on research

wiccamum · 14/07/2022 18:16

Congratulations op, lovely to share some positive news. You and your ds deserve to celebrate 🎉

Happyjoyjoy · 14/07/2022 18:16

Thank you . I am absolutely bursting with pride …it hasn’t been easy for him and he has had a few issues with his general health!! He is traveling with his friends in Asia…all self funded by him ..he really is a fabulous human being and his siblings are so happy 😀

Ok, the first brag was justified and fine but this is enough already 🤣

Revengers · 14/07/2022 18:19

Congratulations!! That's amazing and you should be beaming with pride and showing off!!

shewhomustbeEbayed · 14/07/2022 18:24

That is lovely to hear. Congratulations to you both.💐

KisstheTeapot14 · 14/07/2022 18:26

He must have put in some work to get that - well done him!

Hope it gives him an extra confidence boost for whatever he decides to do next.

Brilliant news and thanks for sharing it with us.

Bask in being a proud mum : )

All those hours doing cutted up pears and reading books...

Charlize43 · 14/07/2022 18:27

Why shouldn't you brag? Achievements should be celebrated!

Well done him for all his hard work!!!

Gnomechange · 14/07/2022 18:28

Lovely news 😌

Kerensa70 · 14/07/2022 18:32

A fantastic achievement!! There is no need to brag, it’s family news. My daughter got a first from Durham a few years ago and we were so proud of her but I didn’t put it on social media etc as I worry there’s always the possibility of making someone else feel s@*t!

hoping2021 · 14/07/2022 18:38

Congratulations to your son! And we’ll done to you for reading the room and not bragging when your friends are having a tough time…. They will recognise this and appreciate it xx

Raizin · 14/07/2022 18:43

Congratulations! You are quite right to be proud!

lissie123 · 14/07/2022 18:55

Many congratulations to your son. Excellent news worthy of massive celebrations. My friends weren’t particularly interested in my son’s achievements when he got a first so instead I got a little tipsy at his graduation and spent some time telling the Chancellor how amazing he was 🤣🤣

BellePeppa · 14/07/2022 18:55

Well done to your son! It can be hard sharing such good news with friends or family as some can resent it or think it’s gloating (even when it’s not) so I’m glad you have an outlet here to feel proud of your son.

VK456 · 14/07/2022 19:02

It’s not bragging - you’re quite rightly proud of him. 😊
Congratulations to him!

Fayelina · 14/07/2022 19:07

Huge congratulations, that’s a fantastic achievement for all his hard work. Congratulations to you too 👏🏻

slowquickstep · 14/07/2022 19:08

Congratulations, you must be so proud 💐x

IncompleteSenten · 14/07/2022 19:08

He should be very proud of himself for his hard work! I'm not surprised you want to shout it from the rooftops.

ChocolatemilkBertie · 14/07/2022 19:08

Bloody well done to him! Celebrations are in order!
