12.30 statement according to Sky

Will he be on time, will his hair be brushed

Will BloJo's shirt be tucked in, his tie in its proper place and will he be sniffing, having 'drawn a line under it' again?

Will Larry the cat be on a windowsill washing his bum in the background?

Runnerbeansflower · 07/07/2022 12:17

I think BJ is desperately trying to stay on because he believes this will blow over and he can smarm his way into popularity again...

tobee · 07/07/2022 12:18

Theresa May on Sky news. She's making a speech at institute for government

tobee · 07/07/2022 12:22

Here comes the lectern

Cornettoninja · 07/07/2022 12:22

@tobee ta Grin

WaitroseWoman · 07/07/2022 12:23

A reminder that KS said that Labour will call a VONC if the Tories don't get rid of BJ.

The lectern is out...

vera99 · 07/07/2022 12:25

Expect the Benny Hill theme playing in the background.

vera99 · 07/07/2022 12:25

Grave dancing shoes on.....

SpinningForTheWorld · 07/07/2022 12:27

I see Peter Bone and deranged Christopher Chope have turned out to support Johnson. Where's mad Fabricant?

itsgettingweird · 07/07/2022 12:27

Interesting how what's he opening right now is fairly parallel to what happened with Thatcher.

She has rising inflation and her popularity waned.

It was the Falkland's that made her popular again and she served 3 terms.

Makes you wonder why Johnson was in Ukraine a lot and then twaddling about 2030.

YogaLite · 07/07/2022 12:28

Will he/won't he smirk??

tobee · 07/07/2022 12:28

I predict

“Err… thank you … err….for…err…coming here…err…TODAY”"

SpinningForTheWorld · 07/07/2022 12:29

We have the worst of Tory viciousness to come, don't we? While the £ tanks.

DuncinToffee · 07/07/2022 12:30

Well his fan club are watching on

SpinningForTheWorld · 07/07/2022 12:31

He's in bullish form.

tobee · 07/07/2022 12:32

It's a failure

itsgettingweird · 07/07/2022 12:33

Only Johnson can make it sound like it's been his idea and what a great idea it was!

He's a fucking nut job
