My chest jiggles constantly and it’s a bit embarrassing

ill start this off by saying I’m a bigger lady about 42F , but my cups are still bigger a little left over from breast feeding.

they seem to just jiggle constantly when I’m walking at a normal pace , they are quite full and lots of movement in them which I should probably be grateful for 😁
but people really do have a good stare , men and women alike and I’m a bit worried it’s not only embarrassing for me but my older sons if I’m out an about,

I know this is a ridiculous problem but I’m wondering if anyone else has suffered this in the past?

Erm, your bra clearly doesn't fit properly. But you seem to be enjoying the attention, so crack on.

PorkySisyphus · 03/06/2022 13:15

Did ye, aye?

UpToMyElbowsInDiapers · 03/06/2022 13:16

Could you wear a high-impact sports bra, if it’s bothering you? They don’t allow for much movement!

Mine are a 32G and have made me a bob or 2 so I don't mind the odd stare. Cover up if you're uncomfortable with the attention, otherwise there's nothing else you can do really.

JudgeRindersMinder · 03/06/2022 13:18

You need better fitting bras. I was a GG at one point and had well fitting full cup bras-very little jiggle

Flaunch · 03/06/2022 13:19

You just have to own them!

Like ones that zip at the front? Do they give a decent shape still,

i don’t mind non underwired with decent structure .

Get fitted for a properly fitting bra! No wonder people are staring if you aren't being supported properly and 'giggling about'! Its clearly not providing the support you need and likely will cause more damage and sagging to your breasts.

I say this as an H cup! I can easily feel a poorly made or non supportive bra in the changing rooms if there is too much movement. Strong scaffolding is required for some of us!

catpoppet · 03/06/2022 13:21

would two bras work for extra support / firmness?

Notbeinfunnehbut · 03/06/2022 13:21

Would just like to reiterate I’m not wearing lowcut tops all the time or anything it’s just the movement is apparent under most tops regardless of the neckline.

@Furrbabymama87 made you a bob or two how??

Branleuse · 03/06/2022 13:24

You need a full cup bra. Nothing that gives cleavage.
I think you are likely wearing the wrong size bra, and i think it would be worth going to your closest bravissimo for a fitting, or if not, check out 'boob or bust'

swapcicles · 03/06/2022 13:24

You are probably in the wrong bra size,
Try boob or bust on FB but don't feel you have to stick rigidly to their size suggestion as it is just a guide but it helps you and your boobs point in the right direction.
I've seen ladies that have boobs shoved up unnaturally high in a bra that's way to small and presume it's just for show as can't be comfortable as it looks like they've shoved an melon under each boob to hoik them up! but each to their own.

dementedpixie · 03/06/2022 13:24

You might be wearing the wrong back size/cup combination

What is your measurement tight under the bust and then the measurement around the fullest part of your bust?

dementedpixie · 03/06/2022 13:26

What is your dress size? I'm a 20/22 and wear a 36 back (36GG)

It’s a difficult one, gotta be careful with traditional full cup when you have a stomach if they have no lift ,
I don’t want my boobs and stomach to converge.

it’s why I’ve stuck to T-shirt style bras the moulding but not push up ,
someone up thread mentioned sports bras which are an idea,

im just looking at boob or bust now.

AnnaMagnani · 03/06/2022 13:37

You are in the wrong size bra, guaranteed. Likely need smaller back and much much bigger cups.

And if you are in the right size bra, a full cup will give plenty of lift. I've pretty much only worn full cup for the past 20 years and my boobs arrive in the room before I do.

HipsterCoffeeShop · 03/06/2022 13:39

Yeah I suspect you're in the totally wrong size and need a much smaller band and much bigger cup.

They wobble because they're not being supported.

Go to Bravissimo and get measured.

Carrietaurus · 03/06/2022 13:42

If it bothers you that much look into a reduction.

But get a decent bra in the right size.

Notbeinfunnehbut · 03/06/2022 13:43

I’m trying to see any bravissimo stores who do fitting in my area , M&S is a complete no go

OP posts:
ChiefWiggumsBoy · 03/06/2022 13:45

I don't know what you think a full cup bra is but it's not going to meld into your belly anymore than any other style of bra Confused

I'm a size 20 and wear a 36HH by the way. I favour a plunge style as it suits my shape better, I do have a couple of balconnettes and get the 'jiggle' as you put it. I don't wear low cut tops so much in those.

Moulded bras are the worst btw the way as they're never going to fit properly to your breast tissue, you'll always get a bit of jiggle where the cup is a set shape and your boob isn't.

Try Elomi brand - they're a plus size bra brand and are a godsend. By far the most comfortable. Bravissimo have a couple of styles - the Lucie is nice. They are pricey but worth it.

Squ1ggle · 03/06/2022 13:46

Try Molke bras OP. They're fantastic for bigger boobs. Check out the Facebook page too for more info on the sizing etc as it's a bit different but works wonders

snowflake29 · 03/06/2022 13:47

Yep I would agree with others that you are probably in the wrong bra size! I'm 34GG and have no noticeable jiggling when I'm walking, they stay firmly in place!
