Pleased with that after failing to get yesterdays.

Went the long way round to get that one!

That was better!

Littlebelina · 08/05/2022 19:25

How did that take me more guesses than yesterday Blush. Went right round the houses until inspiration struck

Same for me! This was nearly up there with 'rope' in my 'wtf, Redactle' pantheon of dodgy performance.

Cooroo · 08/05/2022 19:59

Does anyone know how Redactle handles apostrophes? There was a name with an apostrophe after it and I entered it both with and without and didn't get any hits with either.

InMySpareTime · 08/05/2022 20:02

I thought apostrophes were unredacted like commas and dashes.
Eg O'Malley would "hit" as o and malley separately

Badly, I think. In the Grenada one, I entered people's and it gave zero, despite People's being in the text a few times and it being case-insensitive.

SlightlyJaded · 08/05/2022 20:03

134 guesses. I should have been much quicker but I am too much of a scatter gun. I'm not interested in how many guesses, I just enjoy getting 'hits'. Like a trolley dash... And how quickly I can do it.

So although it was 134 guesses, in time - it was just over five minutes.

That wasn't the case in "People's"

InMySpareTime · 08/05/2022 20:09

Redactle info page disclaimers it under "most".
TBH my maiden name had an apostrophe so I've had more than my share of "invalid character" name entries in my time.
A lot of programs have no idea what to do with them or what type of character they are.

259 for me. I could have gotten so much faster if I hadn't used the American word, damn!

QueenOfThorns · 08/05/2022 20:19

Not bad, thought I was way off, then it suddenly came to me!

I solved today's Redactle (#32) in 44 guesses with an accuracy of 63.64%. Played at www.redactle.com/

ScrambledSmegs · 08/05/2022 20:19

I solved today's Redactle (#32) in 91 guesses with an accuracy of 46.15%.

And yet I found that one hard.

Me too! If that name had "taken" I would have got it in 25, so annoying!

I solved today's Redactle (#32) in 47 guesses with an accuracy of 61.70%. Played at www.redactle.com/

Fifthtimelucky · 08/05/2022 20:51

One of my better days today: 14 guesses, with an accuracy of 71%.

JassyRadlett · 08/05/2022 19:57

Rope was also a low point for me!

zoeFromCity · 08/05/2022 21:23

I solved today's Redactle (#32) in 107 guesses with an accuracy of 46.73%. Played at www.redactle.com/

That was something. I got one random hit which provided me with many other words, so I was grinding through them and in the end I put the correct one in as well, just to be thorough :)

L1ttledrummergirl · 08/05/2022 21:27

I solved today's Redactle (#32) in 43 guesses with an accuracy of 53.49%. Played at www.redactle.com/

Not so good today, but not too bad after I had finished going round the houses.

Lotsofpots · 08/05/2022 21:28

77 guesses and 45.45% accuracy. I enjoyed this one. Felt like a logical progression.
