I solved today's Redactle (#16) in 61 guesses with an accuracy of 73.77%. Played at www.redactle.com/

I am so pleased with this that I have started this thread 😀🤗

@wannabebetterwatchout the day of the week is pertinent to this one.

AlisonDonut · 24/04/2022 15:18

I've changed my settings to suggest plurals and as I'm on another machine, just put in the actual two title words so that I can update it at 5pm [6pm here] and with just the 4 words I input, and the plurals, I solved it in 4 with 75% accuracy. So no idea what the accuracy even means as 50% of the words out of the 4 are right. And the other 2 are the plurals.

Obviously I didn't solve in 4, I solved in about 2000 yesterday...

All I've got after dropping in & out of it all day are verbs!! I've tried nouns relating to every subject under the sun!! Given I now have less than 2 hours left would it be allowed for someone to give a little clue?? Desperate here, plus it's all your fault as had never heard of redactle until I read this thread this morning (seems like a lifetime ago)....!

There is already one huge clue in this thread. From late last night. PM me if you want another.

wannabebetterwatchout · 24/04/2022 16:01

@AlisonDonut thank you! I think I've found that and now I think on the right path but still long way to go & the clocks now ticking!

Tried every day of the week & getting nowhere!! Maybe this is just too cerebral for me 😂😂😂

InMySpareTime · 24/04/2022 16:25

@wannabebetterwatchout something about this day of the week is linked to the article. I'm trying to be a bit cryptic so as not to give it away.

MrsElm · 24/04/2022 16:45

@wannabebetterwatchout what words do you have?

One day of the week is definitely in there...

wannabebetterwatchout · 24/04/2022 16:55

Getting v close to end now so hope it's ok to say I know it's something to do with Catholic Church, popes (esp pope Francis) also have cardinals, bishops and it's apparently body of something.... I think it should be really obvious but isn't! 😂

YouLookinSusBro · 24/04/2022 16:55

I give up. Over 400 guesses, got the general subject matter early but literally no idea of title. Going round in circles. This is my first attempt

Only 400, that's baby steps...

YouLookinSusBro · 24/04/2022 16:59

Thanks @wannabebetterwatchout got it with 2 mins to spare!!

wannabebetterwatchout · 24/04/2022 17:03

Ahhhgggg it's now over & seen answer - I had auto plurals going on but for some reason it didn't apply plural of cardinal... frustrated x10000000! Ah well, here's a shiny new one!!

DearZoom · 24/04/2022 17:16

I solved today's Redactle (#18) in 29 guesses with an accuracy of 48.28%. Played at www.redactle.com/

so disappointed! I’d been clock watching for 5pm all day and it’s over in less than ten minutes😭
’lucky’ guess as I was heading down a different route - but I had a few words relating to the title.

TheAbbotOfUnreason · 24/04/2022 17:33

It’s just luck - although I do look at the title / sub-titles and that can lead me into thinking is it about a person, a thing, a place, an event or a concept etc.
