Really not sure about this game. Its dreadful on a phone, can't see what you are typing or where the words go. So sort of guessing blind, with only your last guess to go on.

No googling

Very pleased with myself. I have done 3 now. The first one was the Chopin and I had 200+ guesses because I was enjoying filling in the words. I did have to google to get the answer.
Yesterday's I didn't have a clue for ages and then had to google.

I have NO idea how people are solving these quickly, although I do think the phone format makes it hard!

Those solving really quickly, do you just put random words in and follow a trend like semantle? Or actually try to get rid of the redacted parts? I was doing the latter but suspect that's what took so long?

I play it on a big screen. I can imagine it's not much fun on a phone, as you can't see so much of the page.

I have to do it on the kindle Bower, I can't see enough of the text on the iPhone.

You have to refresh the page then it appears at the top of the page

Todays redactle #18 solved in 50 guesses and 74% accuracy. Easier than yesterdays! @barneymcgroo I thought it was cricket too!

Todays was much easier for me than the bloody cardinals - 46 guesses instead of 28 trillion or whatever it was.

I got to 85 guesses with no idea, then DS took over and solved it on guess 91 🤔

Easier than yesterday but still took me a while - I’m annoyed with myself I thought of this answer ages back and then didn’t enter it for whatever reason, I think something else had a lot of hits and sent me off in a different (wrong) direction.

I’m playing on my phone but think I might need to switch to tablet.

Ooooooh, getting it legitimately after sooo many guesses is the best feeling ever! Wordle and the rest just don't have the same satisfaction.

Also if you look under settings, you can add plural forms automatically. Very handy!

I'm new to this and am rather enjoying it.

Did my first one yesterday in 171 guesses (45% accuracy). Today's was a rather more respectable 61 (74% accuracy).

I solved today’s (#18) in 29 guesses with 79.31% accuracy. Much better than my previous 2 (Chopin was my first). Combination of subject matter I’m familiar with, playing on iPad instead of phone (SO much easier) and the learning curve of the game I think. Loving playing it - thanks for bringing it to my attention @MrsElm

If you click on a word in your guess list, it automatically scrolls to the part of the article where the word is. Very useful on phone. (Moves to the next time if you click again)

That was a nice one.
I'd not noticed the pluralisation setting, it seemed to be doing that randomly - a bit annoying, it pluralised two of my guesses which were words which you'd normally hardly ever use other than in the singular. So my score should have been 40.

I can't see how I share my score on Redactle. Can someone tell me?
