Here we go again! Is this game getting easier, or will we all be wallowing in the hundreds in a day or two? Only time will tell!

Anybody new to the madness do join in. We need all the help we can get!

I solved Semantle #82 in 53 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 7.57. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #31. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 33.49 (947/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

@comfortablyfrumpy I think hints only appeared since yesterday or maybe the day before.

Today was a weird one. I had to use the new hint button (more than once Blush)
A lot of the greens weren't related.

I solved Semantle #82 in 126 guesses with 4 hints. My first guess had a similarity of 8.67. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #21. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 51.85 (997/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

Looking at the closest words list I do wonder how my path would have got me to the answer without using hints.

Used a hint to get me into the greens after almost 100 cold guesses and then another after floundering around and now stuck at 990. Don't really want to use any more hints as feels cheaty but is 990 any use? I have LOTS of lower greens.

ive used one hint but that’s deeply unsatisfying. I prefer the clues from the thread but still can’t get it!
