I solved Semantle #80 in 5 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 11.97. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #2. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 60.66 (954/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

🤦‍♀️ was going to guess it after I got 952 at 5 - but because it was so low, as was 692 (my second guess) then I thought it wouldn't be 1000.

But I tried the opposite and got 995, so guessed and got 1000. Should have been quicker!

What am I missing... I don't seem to have some of the numbers mentioned but I can't think of anything else related to these (the green list continues to many lower numbers)

Definitely beginners luck for me with Semantle (got it in 13) because I've been at cemantle for nearly an hour and can't get it.

That Cemantle is a load of old shite bit rubbish. I just can't progress from any green words. Think I'll stick to Semantle, at least once you get a green you can generally get another, albeit lower.

I can't get any higher than my third guess which was hours ago and only has a score of 22.12. It doesn't make sense.

I solved Semantle #81 in 62 guesses with 3 hints. My first guess had a similarity of 3.44. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #31. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 53.99 (999/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

As you can notice from above, hints are now available 😉 I thought I would try them out to see how they worked. I used the first one when I had no greens at all, and it gave me green no. 1. After that it gives you a green that is higher than what you already have. There is no indication if there is a limit to the number of hints you can access.
The hints button is at the bottom, next to the give up button.

I tried the hint which moved me from 985 to 992. It took me another 19 guesses so not sure it was that helpful.

My final hint took me from 842 to 921, and I got it 4 guesses later, so for me it was very helpful.
I think it just gives you a green which is higher than what you have, whether that's random or a set amount above, I don't know.
But surely a higher green will always be helpful? I don't know how else they can do it on the game 🤷
