Oh yes, the weird word yesterday - so Americans call Gypsy cobs (the black and white ponies with feathery feet that you see tethered around commons - they aren’t always black and white but hopefully that gives everyone the right picture) ‘vanners’, and love them. They were (and probably still are - I’m out of the equine loop) quite fashionable here, but over there people pay stupid money for them, tens of thousands of dollars. So I’d assume that ‘vanned’ is either a typo for or derived from vanner. Would be funny if the word list included typos!
