I can't stand Ryan's world.... What is the worst thing your DC watch on TV?

Unfortunately the kids love Ryan's world, but I really hate it. My reasons for this are:

  1. The videos are so annoying and the parents voices grate on my last nerve. The DD's are currently watching a video where Ryan is playing a 'game' of copying everything the Mum does, as though to encourage kids at home to do the same.
  2. It's such a false depiction of family life where the parents and kids are always happy. If the parents could show themselves shouting at the kids for 10 minutes to put their shoes on or begging them to be quiet for a few minutes it would be so much more realistic...
  3. On a more serious note, I think the parents have exploited Ryan just to make money out of him and sell Ryan's world merchandise. I'm not convinced it can do a kid good to be that famous a such a young age.

I'm still at the stage where I can just about tolerate Blippi. Coco melon for me, they bastadise nursery rhymes!!!

There’s a little Aussie girl on YouTube that puts on the most grating voice for her dolls. I have deleted all her videos from the history so DD can’t find them anymore. It’s for my sanity.

Bing is banned in my house. He's an annoying, wet little thing who doesn't speak English properly. It's enough that DD repeatedly sings every song from every other show, she is not picking up bad grammar from the wimpy kid.

YouTube videos loved by DD include girls called Diana and Jenny, awful.

Ryan's world is so weird, it can't be good for a child to have a duvet cover with a cartoon version of himself on, play himself in a video game, wear t-shirts with his own face on...

I don't actually mind Ryan's world, but agree with your points. His mum's voice in particular is so whiney!
Hate Vlad and Nikki. Hate Diana. Blippi fascinates me with how irritating it is- DC was especially excited to find it in my usual safespace of Netflix.
The worst for me is Trinity and Beyond. DC picked up the really annoying "Guys! Guys!" to get my attention from this.
Bing doesn't bother me but outgrown now, and I love Bluey, Ben and Holly and Swashbuckle!

On the flip side I don’t like Bluey that much because it makes my kids think I’m just desperate to play with them the same way Bluey’s parents do…

Jelly, Jamesify, and other crap where much older teens are playing games. Endless American twangy voices oh wowing it, amazing it and driving me crazy. The sad face DS gives me when I ask him to watch something different, stops me banning them

We came across tractor ted the other day, he loved it. The annoying thing is that there are only 6 episodes. That's it. I cannot watch the same 6 episodes over and over.

Teen Titans Go.

I was initially happy about it, love DC Comics so thought it would be good to share my love with the kids, but Teen Titans is awful. Typically it's one of the few programmes both kids agree on though, so I'm putting up with it to keep the peace. Reluctantly.
