If you're lucky enough not to know what I'm on about Semantle is a word game like Wordle. You need to find the secret word of the day, but it works by semantics, not letters. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, one of the secret words was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

Huh! I also thought we'd had it before. I tried to check and discovered an answer archive, which seems to imply semantle has been going a while. I've seen what it thinks is April 5th's answer - we shall see!

Finally! I got a high green (981) early on which sort of helped but wasn’t specific enough. The Vanilla Ice hint got me higher and InMySpareTime led me the rest of the way!

Got stuck around 952 for ages!

Straightforward today from one of my normal early words. No clues or anything needed which is good, but I do always feel a bit short changed 😂
