My DD is in her 20s and has learning difficulties along with mental health issues. Her mental health has been gradually getting worse over the last 6 months. Resulting in several visits to A&E (usually after self harming or becoming very distressed and threatning to end her life). Where they talk to her and then send her home again once she has calmed down... 
This deterioration started following a traumatic event linked to her past but I don't want to go into details because it's very outing. Needless to say it has and still is destroying my daughter's mental health 
This morning she text me whilst I was at work saying that she was sorry but she couldn't do this any longer and was going away. Don't try to find her etc. I tried calling her but her phone is switched off. Further investigation (speaking to other people) has revealed that Dd received some news this morning that's probably triggered her into crisis again I still can't get hold of her (I've got several family members trying as well). I've called the police and I'm just waiting for them to arrive and take further details.
I'm so worried and scared that she's going to do something stupid 
I don't know why I'm posting here. I just need a handhold
