I’m listening to Wahala by Nikki May.

It’s pretty good! A bit slow to begin with. Anyone else read/listened to Wahala?

Any recommendations for my next book?

Currently listening to Daisy Jones and The Six. I'm quite enjoying it as currently on holiday and it's not heavy going.

Just finished Pachinko which was a good epic listen.

Nothing has beaten The Heart's Invisible Furies in terms of story and narration.

Last 2 were :
Mack The Life - Lee Mack autobiography narrated in an interesting way. I’m a big fan of his and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Midwich Cuckoos - John Wyndham narrated by Stephen Fry.
A freebie and a trip down memory Lane to my school days when I first read it.

Currently ploughing through The Governor - Linda La Plante. OK but not particularly gripping.

Go tell the bees that I am gone - Diana Gabaldon. The latest in the Outlander series. 49 hours long so will keep me going for a while.

Before that, How to be a rock star by Shaun Ryder. Enjoyable but his voice isn't the easiest to listen to, could only listen for about an hour at a stretch.

They were both in the 2 for 1 sale.

"Just off for a walk" by Simon Reynolds. It's about the authors walk along the South West Coast Path and was a thoroughly enjoyable, well narrated and interesting read.

It only popped up as a suggestion as DH and I are slowly walking the SWCP and I had just bought a walking guide (we actually live on the path and have done the local part, we're now branching out to further flung parts) It helped that I have a vested interest in the subject and am very familiar with several stretches of the path, but even so I was pleasantly surprised 🙂
